Hey guys, Friendly Family Nalu here, mostly because it's less than 24 hours before the next Event starts and I'm abusing the Top of the Page to make it more visible.
 Tomorrow the new Event will start, and I just wanted to share some tips along with Day 1 of our Pace Checker, which will be posted daily on the Official Topic to make sure people can follow along. Tips: Click to display Remember that for this event you need: - 10 horses to 15 to give to Ow - 10 boxes with Shower and Troughs - Carrots. Pacing yourself is the key. Wandering horses are unlocked the more time passes, and it's very important to understand that your actions are NOT retroactive, so you must resist temptation and save those precious, Precious Clapperboards (the new aging point for Wanderers) until the Sci-Fi horse is unlocked.  TRAP!! Do NOT use Clapperboards before the Wanderer is unlocked. It's very, very important. You'll be forced to use one for the Tutorial, but sit on all of the others.SKIP Missions and Competitions with EXTREME Prejudice until the appropriate Wanderers are unlocked. If you want to follow along the Pace Checker, Missions and Competitions will be factored in as we go. Remember that this Pace Checker was made by me for my personal use, it does NOT claim to be the Perfect and Best guide, you can play however you wish to. I've found a good plan that gets me to the end and I'm sharing it, hoping that someone finds it of any help.  This Checker is made to be conservative of ageing in case players are not lucky to find any item when waking the horses up, in order to guarantee maximum payout. Pace Checker for Day 1, for those who want to take a look. Click to display - Do your Tutorial First. It's very important that you do it right away. The event is not Time Sensitive, but you're still locked until you do the Tutorial - Get Animation Wandering Horse - Board Animation in a box with SHOWER and TROUGH (Important!) - Tack Animation (be mindful of other players' ECs, use your tack!) - Train Animation in Dressage (2h dressage, feed appropriate food + as many oats needed to get to 100% energy, 10 hours dressage, DRINK, carrot, 30 minutes dressage, BED). Dressage training done: 25% You can skip the carrot and use a Stroke if you'd rather do that, but you'll need to give a lot of carrots once the quest starts, so might as well get into the habit. Number of Clapperboards left: 3 (6 if the Tutorial works the same). Remember, the event is forgiving as long as you save up those Items and are a bit lucky, so you'll be fine. Pace yourselves and most of all Take Care.

Click to display The majority of players are voicing their dislike, so perhaps Howrse will listen to us before the event is live. I understand that they're trying to stay true to the "sith" theme, but there's a noticeable difference. The cat-sith didn't look like normal cat breeds. They had unique shape and style, and the glowing eyes simply added to the "uniqueness." As for the dog-sith, they're just normal breeds, which is fine. I adore dogs. Since they're normal, however, you kind of expect them to have normal eyes. It's a very bad combination, to put it simply. I'll hold my tongue for the divine...

Click to display Oh and I guess they're releasing another "poster children for the uncanny valley" divine series with the Pets? I already try to avoid Chimeras like the plague because of that, but they're doing a separate one? The weird thing is there's ALREADY pets on the game, in companions. Not really sure why we need distressing-looking hooved dogs. The funny thing is they're being lumped with Wilds which I find beautiful and love to collect. I get that it's cause they all have the same perk but

Click to display The fragments on test are likely a lot higher than they will be on live and it says there is a higher probability to get it during the test session.

Click to display I already ignore the Wilds, Chimera's and Wind's because they have a 'use by' date... so, another series I can ignore (unless I see one I really like  )I like the dog sith's, glow-ey eyes not withstanding

Regarding the event after the one that starts today. So basically you have to....
Click to display create 2 St Bernard's to get a dog sith? What's with the dog food then? Or maybe the first dog i level 0? So you have to merge 2 dog food? This is just wrong in so many way

Click to display It's the jackpot companion. It will look like a dog bowl in your inventory, but you will be able to get the eight dogs from it. Like how the cat sith is a ball of yarn in your inventory but a cat once it is added to the horse.

Does anyone know what time this new event starts? Its 23:29pm on Thursday the 26th where I'm located, and so I'm just wondering if anyone knew roughly when? I thought it would be here with the daily update (18:00pm), but it hasn't started yet, so I'm a little confused

Click to display I’m personally quite happy with another chimera/wild series as they’re quite useful and easy enough to collect. the only thing is I’m a bit worried that is that a new series means that they’re done with the chimeras, and I was still pretending that they might implement that orca chimera that I saw in here ages ago *sigh* On a funnier note (to me), technically horses are pets, so they finally have a chance to splice a horse with another horse
