Click to display Okay, So I'm SOOO excited for the cards promo! Whoo! I've been hoping for this for a while! Anyway, I'm not really sure how this new BLUPPing thing is going to work out. I privately breed Unicorns with someone, (Not on a team) and since we BLUP too 100 I guess this isn't that much of a change? Our BLUPPing schedule works perfectly for now, but do you still need to bold the top three skills in order to get a hundred GP? Or do you just get more BLUP with comps and aging? Also, so I saw that someone posted that they bred two horses with a little over 70 BLUP and about 4100 GP each, and they got foals only a touch better then those horses themselves. So, if I were to breed two 100 BLUP horses, one with 8,000 GP and one with 6,000 GP, would I only get a little over 6,100 GP? Or would it be like now, I would get around the middle at 7,000 GP? Thanks. This new update is going to be confusing. |

And another thing losing Arms at 30 years old. I have lost count recently how many times my mare has been older than this and had to be given a black orchid just to get an elite foal with really good inborn skills for the prix. What now? Train another mare to try again.

I think it's a gòod thing (and logical) that Click to display less than 100 blup will.give less gain. What's the point of breeding the best if "the best" is only 70?
I always breed my cross projects at 100. My Drum line will hurt because I just get them to 70, but oh well.
I think the only actual downside is how it will affect comps. If the teams strive for 100 they'll now be aiming for wins, not jsut entering for the skills, so the comps could get more competitive.
Also, we haven't been able to test this enough to see what the difference in gain will be. That 4300 GP test I posted shows a huge difference, but the one I did with top GP didn't have much of a difference. That one I posted on the UK server, but I'm on my phone so trying to repost will be a marathon, but if anyone wants to pop over there to read that you can see a test with top GP. If the difference between breeding at 100 and 70 (or whatever) is really small, then players might still decide to breed at less blup to get more horses done

Wins are much more important in the case of BLUPing, compared to know which is Training is more important. Thats also going to make wins harder since everyone is going to be trying to get wins.Its only the case that if you don't have 100 BLUP, the gain is much lower compared to 100

At it's core, it won't be harder to get
Click to display 100 blup. The requirements are still the same. Bold top 3 skills, age to 10 and get 20 wins. The only reason why this could *potentially* be harder is that if the top teams do want to get the best gain by breeding at 100, then they will be aiming to win and not just gain skills. But we don't know for certain how this will affect comps until this goes live and players decide whether they wish to change their breeding strategies or not.
