Reminders: Click to display -You don't *have* to complete the objectives, but if you plan on progressing far it will sure make it worth your while to get the rewards for doing them. -You can also donate a BM item to Ow if you want to get the reward but can't do the objective. There doesn't appear a limit to how often you donate an item as I've done it a dozen times so far. -You can buy mace blows, however, since points will be available in HoPs as the special offer, I'd advise waiting until the offer comes about before spending passes on this event. The points vary within a certain range for each HoP you open and the range is dependent on what pinata you're on. You'll get more points on the higher level pinatas since you'll need more points -One of the last pinata objectives is to buy a horse for 1 pass. However, if you want the reward for this objective and don't want to spend a pass or donate a BM item, then you can buy a pass horse in the sales for 1 pass, send it to heaven to get your pass back.

Now Spyder, you know that will never happen You know I looked at a few other horse based games and I had serious problems right from the get go. Half were confusing in knowing where to go, some had good graphics ( better than Howrse) but when I tried to find out what to do ( the "tutorial" ) or answers through their live chat, I was totally ignored. I was given a bunch of "points" by another but no clue what to do with them So all in all even with its shortcomings this game is the best all rounder horse game I have found in the internet. People are free to agree with me or not and there will ALWAYS be those that will not be happy with anything put in front of them.

Spyder: I've done the same thing, and you're totally correct! Howrse is the most user-friendly game, even though there are a few changes that are very unwanted, I'm never quitting the game.

Just putting my thought in about the above comments about never leaving.
After seeing the game go down hill for so long I did look around at the other games, and I finally found one I went with. It might not be as competitive as Howrse, but there is nothing like being able to create new breeds and breeding characteristics you want rather then just having the same solid horse over and over with no variations. The only thing keeping me on howrse after all these 6+ years is the small hope that howrse actually begins to listen to us and changes to better the game and not their pockets. This last survey has me skeptical and I hope that they do what they seam to be implying and that is finally listening and doing.

The only thing keeping me on howrse after all these 6+ years is the small hope that howrse actually begins to listen to us and changes to better the game and not their pockets. This last survey has me skeptical and I hope that they do what they seam to be implying and that is finally listening and doing. This is very true, howrse rarely listens, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I enjoy the game! It's fun to help new players get their feet firmly on the ground, help teams rise up to the top, and other things! I enjoy the game because of its competitive aspect, but there is still a way to have fun. I LOVE BLUPing, skilling, breeding, etc. If I went to a new game (no BMIs would literally kill me) I wouldn't have the same thrill I get from this game |
I do agree with nothing like making teams get places, or blupping to get places.
There is a little bit of joy though going into a game after being here learning all the ways to make money and the economics of it all, and taking it into another game. Starting over is rough, After 3 account changes (we didn't have username changes until recently) I'd know, lol. I'd enjoy the game more i think if I thought staff cared about the little people. Yeah pass buyers are great, but so are the regular people who put hours into the game just like everyone else. I pass bought, but the more I felt like the game became one sided the less i bought. I want the opportunity to excel with or without passes. I want the new people to experience the warmth and acceptance I felt from the owners like I did before they sold the game.

Yes, I completely agree! I had an old account (1000+ days of seniority) and then I felt so cared for! I actually completed about 5 promos with only 1-2 passes spent! But now Howrse has become a money making machine. And the thing is, new players never felt the warmth we did, so this is average to them! That's why I loved this new survey; it felt like they actually cared about our answers.

I agree with hoping that Howrse listens to the wants and needs of their users and eventually makes changes to improve gameplay (hopefully within the next two years). I enjoy Howrse, and I've invested quite a lot of time here. It honestly is one of the better horse-focused games out there, and always has been! However, I too, have found another site as well. Definitely not as user-friendly, eye-appealing (site-wise), competitive, or populated as Howrse, but because the developers listen to what it's few members want, I keep hanging around. I really want Howrse to grow and flourish with it's members. I'm scared that a new horse sim will come out in the next few years that will mow this site into the ground, despite Howrse honestly being revolutionary as far as horse sims go. It really has changed the game, and inspired so many other sites. |

Click to display The Pinatas are definitely one of my fave promos. They tend to have lovely graphics, good gifts and with the tweaks they added, easy to keep moving and have fun with. Some of the promos, you do a little bit and then have to wait hours or even days to do more. The tree promo was much too long in my opinion, way too much waiting and not getting gifts. It doesn't seem logical for the points earned each click to decrease! Can someone clarify whether pinata 4 objective 1 is perhaps clicks earn 2 points each? Or if this is correct? Or if it is something different?

Ok, I double checked it with
Click to display TotalCretin's YouTube video, and Pinata 4, Objective one reward should be "the next 5 clicks earn 6 points each." Pinata 6 was correct (clicks earn 3 points each, except from friends). Somehow I didn't get that whole line copied. I'll go through her video and compare just to make sure I didn't miss anything else and then I'll re-post again. I was going to cross check it with another guide a player from Equideow has, but the translation isn't that clean, so that's not much help
