There was also a topic posted here in the events forum but it was deleted after April Fools' was over.

What are the pinatas? I've never been on here for a pinata promo. Are they pass heavy? They're not if you have a decent stash of HOPs (you can get points for your pinatas in them during the special offer), but it usually takes around 25-30 passes to complete. You basically come on every # of hours (it starts off like every 24 hours and then gets down to every 2 or 3 hours) and click the pinatas. You can do objectives to cut down on the time between clicks, lower the number of points, gain points for your pinata, etc. It's usually themed. Last time we had a circus theme. They're not too bad, but towards the end of it, you have to get up in the middle of the night to get the maximum amount of free clicks and that puts some people off.

is it 30 passes without HOPs? I'll have to start stroking Xanthos' Honestly, if it meant getting my hands on that Balios I'd get up at all hours of the night without a problem Fingers crossed!!

Oh, and there are 20 pinatas total, with the points needed for each one rising. It starts off at like 10 but then the last one is I think 4,000 (but you can halve that to 2,000).
The number of points you get in your HOP also rises depending on which pinata you're on. You might get 40 points for pinata number 5, but get like 500-600 for number 20. We'll have to see what it'll be like in the future though. They might change some things~

You can click a pinata a certain number of times each day and get help from friends. Clicks earn you points and there are objectives for each pinata to gain you points, extra clicks, or more points per click. The beauty about them is that you can pretty much calculate down to a T how many passes/HOPs you need to finish as you can see the objectives and the points required for each pinata right from the start. Extra points can be obtained in HOPs during certain points of the contest.
