I've just returned from a break to here about a possibly of pass changes. I know it's not happening yet and is being tested on other servers. Can anyone tell me which servers? I would like to see what the changes are. Or can someone just tell me them?

I think we can all agree on that... If they make it a bit easier to get those 10 points I'm in for it, but like still, pass horses have been a vital part of the game for so long.

Remember that Howrse is still testing them, and they might not be released.

An admin confirmed it is indeed coming to this server. It is just a matter of when.

We've already been told by an admin that it will happen. We don't have a date yet, and some tweaks may be made to the way it works (if I remember correctly, Howrse said they were adjusting the points system a bit after getting so many complaints that it was extremely difficult to get 10 per day from the servers where the change has already been implemented, but I don't know if those changes have been made yet or what difference it has made if they have), but the change will happen.

I agree -- many rely on getting 30 instead of 10. However... the company isn't going to change any time soon. Owlient will always continue to become more and more money hungry.

I think you're talking about the loyal player's pass, which is also on this server. The pass horses are getting removed and replaced with being able to get up to 10 passes a month from the loyal player's pass instead of 1. Also, please put things that aren't on this server yet in spoiler banners

No, when the change is introduced pass horse will be removed completely. Instead we will have a points system, like the current loyal player pass (which is what gives you the monthly pass now). Each day you will be able to earn up to 10 points by playing Howrse and when you reach 30 points you will be able to play a mini-game to get a pass. If you get 10 points every day, you should be able to get 10 passes a month.
However, a lot of players on the servers where the change is in place have reported that it is much harder to get 10 points with the new system than with the current loyal player pass system. A lot of highly active players were saying they rarely got 10 points. Howrse did say they were going to adjust it so it wasn't so difficult to get points, but I'm unsure if that has happened yet.

So they changed it. However the players are still reporting that they aren't getting many points, and if I'm reading everything correctly (as I'm using google translate) points have actually gotten worse since they updated it to make it easier. Yesterday was the first day I did full actions since they "updated" the points system and after caring for 12 horses (various actions depending on the horse: bred a mare, offered covers, feed, groom, carrot, stroke, water, lesson, competitions, training, rides) stroked a horse in safe haven, congratulated a player, harvested a greenhouse then replanted it, harvested a workshop and crafted in it, sold off some items and I only got 3 points.
