Absolutely love Drafts. They’re so beautiful, majestic, and powerful. Gentle Giants is a perfect term for them. However, due to their size and muscle in many, it can be hard for them to do more than walk/trot/pull (of course, correct me if I’m wrong on that) so if someone wants a horse they can canter/ gallop on, they’re not ideal. But, they’re still some of my all time favorite horses! Here’s my breed for you: Friesian
|
3/10
Never liked Friesians. Never will. They have horrible conformation and are incredibly uncomfortable to ride. They aren’t really good for anything and are all around just not my favorite. They are however super sweet and gentle. Rate this breed: Kiso
|
i would rate the kiso 7/10. I dunno much about them but they are adorable. Again, I dont know much about the breed, but they are as cute as cas be! For next person: Akhal Teke.

7/10
They have really cool coat, but I don't like their thin build to much. I've never rode one but I think it would be cool to do that because they are stunning and the breed is pretty rare! Connemara

Connemara
8/10 Love it, super cute and they come from Ireland (I had ancestors there) and they're just all around fun! Next breed: Sugar Bush Draft
|
Love Sugar brushes! Very nice horses. I would love to meet one! They’re very intelligent and very well built. They have very nice movements as well. There isn’t too many Harlequins since they’re a relatively new breed, but a nice one nonetheless. Overall rating is a 7/10
Next breed: Menorquín horse

8.5/10 Don’t know much about the breed but the pictures look very pretty
Next Horse Breed- Marawari
|
Marwari horse look a bit..... with there curved ears- 1/10
Next: Paint horses
|
9/10 Paint horses are so pretty! Plus I've ridden several Paint/
PaintCrossbreeds and they all seem to have gentle nature. For the next person: Morgan
|
8/10 Morgan’s are beautiful very refined looking horse. I see the breed name and instantly think of the book about a Morgan horse by Marguerite Henry.
Curly (American Baskhir Curly/ABC)
|
9/10 - I've known of Bashkir Curlies for years, but this is the first time I've Googled them. Curly coats aside (I actually prefer smooth coats aesthetically!), it sounds like a horse breed I'd seriously consider having in the future! Calm, intelligent, friendly... and quite possibly the only hypoallergenic horse breed, which makes it perfect, because half my family is actually allergic to horses! Yay!
Not quite a breed, but I'm going to ask anyway - mule? (Google them! They sound cool, I think!)
|
Mules are probably a 6/10 for me. I don’t really like how some of them look and move. Some of them, on the other hand, are pretty cute.
Next breed: Camarillo white horse
|
Camarillo white horse, 2/10 not a breed for me.
next breed: Well put together QH/Belgian |
9/10! I love me a good draft cross, great mountain horses. I know and worked with a QH/Belgian named Chunky, he is 28yo now! He is very fat, and likes to eat PBJs. Will also untie himself and sneak into the grain.
Next breed: BLM or Navajo Nation wild mustang
|
10/10! I once worked with a BLM mustang at a therapeutic riding facility, he was easily one of the calmest and most gentle horses out there. Whoever trained him did a fantastic job, and managed to put the bug in my ear that I might could do the same we'll have to see on that!
Next breed: Clydesdale
|
Ok I would also like to rave about BLM Navajo Nation mustangs. I've known a few and they are amazing. I will miss Scooter for the rest of my life.
Clydesdales? I have always wanted one. They are so handsome and have such good reputations. Arabian Sport Horse (aka Arabian crossed with just about any warmblood)
|
Definitely depends what it’s crossed with. I’d personally like to see an Arab - Belgian cross. (Any of the Belgian warmbloods, but preferably a Zangersheide). I’m more of an Anglo Arab kind of girl, but Arabian sport horses are nice. 7/10
Next breed: Rhenish Warmblood

5/10 Never heard of them but just googled so it's cute.

10/10 for a well bred Thoroughbred!
They are so powerful, intelligent, and spunky. I also am a huge fan of taller horses. Next horse, Paso Fino
|
7/10 they have good dressage and things. I'm just not their biggest fan.
Next Breed: Knabstrupper
