Is it an Colt or Filly?

It won’t be born until March so I’m not sure. I’ll settle on a barn name once it’s here and I know the gender. But Im trying to get an idea of a registered name to go along with sire/dam registered name

Streaking nana and Flingin roses were a bit hard to work with lol. The only name I could come up with is Rosy Streak if it’s a filly. I’m curious what names you came up with!

Flingin Nana would be hilarious but also might set you up for a spicy pony with an attitude to boot. (presuming Nana meant grandma and not a shortened form of Banana)

I’m expecting a spicy baby with how the dam is I like the Time to Dance name! One of my favorites from the names I’ve thought of is Went Streakin For Roses, Nana Rose if it’s a filly (for any Riverdale fans) and Streaking In My Roses (ya know how the Kentucky derby winner gets a big thing of roses to wear. Some big barrel races also do this)

Maybe Bachelorette, Famous lady or dancing rose for a filly? Do you know the dams parents?

I love Late Night Tango! And thank you! I’ve watched him since he started his career and loved him and I’ve always loved his sire too so it was a no brainer when I decided I wanted to breed my mare!

Personally i like the names Tornado,Storm,Ghost and Silver on greys.
Hazel,Peanut and Billy on chestnuts.
Brownie,Billie,Millie,Calista and Hera on bays etc. I will squeeze in some more names that is my absolute favorites(this is kinda rushed)

And my favorite of all timestars and moonlight. A dog that I had a few years ago and still have actually is my little buddy Star and my new horse Sahara which I changed name to Moonlight. She's a beautiful rescue horse and I don't want names that involve trauma. We don't know much about her backstory but Moonlight is truly a horse with a heart of gold. It's a long way to recovery but when she is all recovered she will be my new barrel racing horse and she's not leaving our farm. Everyone that comes stays

Flinging Nana is hilarious, especially if the horse is palomino (= banana colored). Maybe:
- Dancing Ta Fame
- A Streak Of Time / A Streak Of Fame (idk if wither are actually within character limits)
- Dancing Time

Sometimes you can also play off other interests of yours. For example, I like space related stuff a lot, and my mare's dam was Gata Dox and her sire was Challenger. I picked her name to be:
Discovery (Challenger was a space shuttle, Discovery also was a space shuttle) x Dox (what you do when you get your space craft to the space station; "dock") =
Discovery Dox (Discovery, the shuttle, did in fact dock at the International Space Station and was the first to do so -- "discovery docks")
So it was relevant, even if not immediately obviously so to everyone, to her sire/dam but it still had some added person meaning and allowed for more options. Might be a direction to think about

Yes I’ve also thought of names that don’t directly mention their registered names but will still have meaning to me! My friend that I board with and that gave me the chance to breed this mare loves to use song lyrics as names so I’ve thought about some of those too!

Streakin' Flingin' Rose would be fun if the official registry allows enough letters

Colt- Racing the Thunder- barn name Thunder or Racer

Filly- Lovely Princess Dancer- barn name Princess or Dancer

May need to change the filly one a little because it is to long but it was an example

Racing the thunder is cool! Recently I started looking into names with the word blaze because my mama horse has a big blaze and so does her first foal so hopefully this one will
