I've Had My Moments

I'll tell you the story of this name. So my mother had a Morgan stallion she bred and raised a while ago. She trained him to do Preliminary Eventing but had the ability to go higher(His dressage was AMAZING!). When the stallion was around 13 she sold him because she didn't have enough time for him. The buyers seemed like they were good people and had good references. Seven years later a friend of my mothers was at an auction and saw a Morgan gelding(his other owner's had him gelded) who looked very familiar. She sent my mom a picture and my mom was shocked. Her previous stud was near emaciate; you could see his ribs and spine very clearly, his coat was rough and dingy, but he still had the Morgan fire in his eyes. My mom basically said "Do whatever it takes to bring him Home." The horse was bought for $750 and then hauled home. When he stepped of the trailer, he whinnied to his old friends saying "I'm home!". He recovered nicely and stayed for a year. Once again, my mom didn't have enough time for him, so we moved him to a long-time family friend's house where my mom could visit often. Now the stud is approaching 31 and is taking the friend's granddaughter in W-T X-rails, and that's his name: I've Had MY Moments.
