I've got a thoroughbred! Another one of them fancy retired racehorses. He wasn't particularly impressive in his career, thankfully. ('Cause now he's in my life.)

Curlys are hypoallergenic because they lack the protein that causes allergic reactions.

i own a palomino Appaloosa named Stewart
I don't own him, but my favorite pony is 1/2 percheron, 1/2 haflinger. He's 13 hands, which is weird because the minimum for haflingers is 13.2 and percherons are, well, not tiny.default smiley :p

I have a Tennessee Walker x Quarter Horse named Faith. She was a free horse I got from my gradmothers best friends in Florida about four years ago. I was volunteering at a theraputic riding stable 60 hours a week for a free riding lesson at the end of the month. Darlene (grandma's friend) came to visit us in texas, saw how much work I was doing just out of my love for horses, and decided that the next time she came to visit she would be bringing a horse for me.

So as soon as I turned 16, I got a job and was making enough money for board and feed. Faith was free, but she had given a 15 year old girl a serious head injury a year prior and was green-broke. She took a lot of training for a girl who had taught herself everything she knew about horses, but I managed and now Faith is the happiest, healthiest horse I've ever met. She's definitely not a beginner horse, but she has come to be one of my best friends even now in college!

I have two mares at the moment.

Minnie is a 14.2 Welsh/New Forest/Pony of America mix. She's a dark bay, and although she's super adorable, she's a complete diva. default smiley (a)

Munchkin is a 17.0 Belgian draft horse. She's a palomino! I actually only got her a few weeks ago, but she's absolutely amazing. default smiley *-)
matchingmanes, where at in Texas? I'm from there, as well. default smiley ^) I've had the pleasure of riding two TWH. They were a mother/daughter pair who had never been separated, so they were a definite handful but so fun to ride.

I don't have one yet, but I will soon have a mustang, and can't wait to work with one again default smiley (7)
