Try clearing your cache and cookies. That is the normal cure for avatar problems.

Hummm hasn't seemed to work for me strange

If you're on the mobile app nobodies avatar will appear (At least for me it wont, I figure others may experience this as well) It'll look like the grey and white player icon on mobile for everyone.
By disappear do you mean your avatar reverted to an old one or do you mean it shows the grey and white player icon?

Does anyone know if avatars just do not show on the app? Or is anyone on the app and they do show? I never use it so have no idea.

If this is a technical problem it needs to be reported to Contact Us with screenshots.

Are you using the App? If you are using the App, avatars will not appear; that's not a bug.
