Max GP - breeding help?

Hey folks, can anyone give me some tips on maximising GP gain? I always BLUP my horses, the GP of the parents is within 50 points, but sometimes gain is only ~3-5 points above the higher parent's. Am I doing anything wrong? Is there a cap on how much GP you can get when breeding? Any advice would be appreciated!

In case it matters: I'm breeding Lusitanos, at the higher GP end (~30800+)

Breeding at the higher end of GP does see smaller automatic gains than if you breed with lower GP, that's the way the game is scaled.

As long as you are breeding with 100 BLUP then you are doing everything you can to maximise GP gains. It's just the further away from the top GP you are, the bigger your gains.

Grand Rising, All. In regards to breeding a mare, can you purchase multiple breedings from a particular stud, or only one at a time? Thanks in advance for any help.

Best start your own topic instead of taking over someone else's. This way your question gets lost because nobody sees it, and the original question is taken over.

As far as I know you can get as many covers (I guess that is what you mean) from the same stallion as you want.
