[Known Issue][May 2025] Ongoing Performance Issues

Thank you to everyone who has reported issues within the game after the maintenance yesterday.

We would like to assure you that we're working to resolve these issues as soon as possible and ask for your continued patience while we continue investigating and applying fixes to the game.

I've listed a few of the most common issues below:
- Game lag,
- Game slowness,
- Delay in receiving password reset emails,
- Delay in receiving verification emails,
- Horse competitions becoming stuck "In progress"

Please know that the above list is not exclusive and is only the most frequent issues being encountered by our players.

Here is a new update on the current situation after the migration:

↪ Emails issue: Good news, the game is finally able to send out emails to almost everyone!
We are still having issues with Yahoo email addresses. The team is on it, but the rest is fine. You should now be able to confirm your email address or reset your password, for example. Please remember to check your spam folders if you haven't received an email in your inbox.

↪ Missing payment methods: The team is still working on getting Xsolla back as soon as possible. However, right now, we cannot guarantee that it will happen before the end of May Packs, unfortunately. Paysafe should arrive even later. We know how inconvenient it can be for some of you, and we are really sorry about that! Rest assured that the team is doing its best.

↪ Global compensation: We're still on it! The detailed amount and content will be finalized by the end of the week. Hopefully, we will be able to send it out next week.

↪ Test servers: The team is still working on it, hopefully they can reopen next week.

The team is also working on other issues, which are less visible to you, affecting our internal tools.

Step by step, things are getting back to normal.

↪ Test servers: Still work in progress and our #1 priority this week since we need to test features for the next update. We hope to be back up and running by the end of the week, but nothing is set in stone.

↪ Missing payment methods: We are still working on getting Xsolla back up. We know how inconvenient it can be for some of you, especially since May Packs are ending tomorrow. We are really sorry about that! Sadly, we can't guarantee it will be back up before the end of the week.

↪ Global compensation: We are still working on the final details. It will include a variety of items and resources to thank you for your patience during the bumpy migrations.

↪ Performance issues: We noticed an increasing number of reports signaling frequent blank pages, maintenance pages, and other display issues. It seems to affect multiple versions. We are investigating a bit deeper and will provide you with an update next time.

Here is an update on the current situation after the migration.

↪ Performance issues: We are aware that there are still some performance issues, affecting the French servers in particular and also the other versions. This is being investigated as a priority. However, the team still has some difficulties finding the origin of the issues. The metrics we have on our side don't reveal any performance issues, unfortunately.

To help the investigation, we could use more information regarding the issues you encounter:
• On what version?
• If there are specific times you are having issues?
• On what specific pages of the game?
• Screenshots could help as well.

Please share this information with us.

↪ Test servers: The test servers are back up and running (but only for FR, DE, and INT at the moment).

↪ Email issue: Emails should be working for everyone now (but might still land in your Spam folder). Please send a ticket to Support if you still aren't receiving emails.

↪ Missing payment methods: Xsolla is back now and should give you plenty of additional payment options. There is no update regarding Paysafe at the moment, as it isn't our priority.

↪ Global compensation: We're still on it, the detailed amount and content have been finalized. The developers will code the script when there is enough bandwidth - hopefully this week, but there is no guarantee.

There are also other issues the team is working on in the background, but things are progressively getting back to normal.

I keep a horse page bookmarked, and log in from that page. It seems to be the url for the homepage that's the issue.

You can log in to mobile on your browser, then switch to classic, or log in via another saved page.

Sometimes when you start voting, something is broken and couldn't vote more. The page don't gave you vote more then 10+20 times a day +-.

I didnt see anyone mentioning not being able to use privilidges consistelntly (granted i didnt scroll too far). Bought breeders pack and I can use tears freely, but wand is unavailable 90% of the time and I have to buy it.

The wand privilege is only available on mares you are the producer of, this has been the way since it was introduced

Thats unfortunately not the problem. The free use is unavailable for any of my mares, bought or bred (most of the time at least). Tried contacting support with screenshots, but no answer yet.

Guys, please send me a message, i can come to your Paris HQ and fix the issue within 24 hours, it doesn't make any possible sense to struggle this much with a reverse proxy.

Ok so this really isn't a issue but sometimes when I age my horses with aging points it doesn't take the aging points out of my inventory so sometimes I get free aging points.

Is there any update when the lagging issues will finally be resolved? The game regardless of mobile or browser has been unbearable to play. I dont want extension of packs, I want a playable game. I cant justify spending money on a game that’s been lagging for weeks at this point now.

Noob player here.. are Xolla and Paysafe different from WorldPay? I was thankfully able to finally verify my yahoo email. Now I see there's a payment issue. I didn't see WorldPay on the list.. just a little confused. Has anyone gotten different cards to work?

Are the packs going to be extended again? I just tried to purchase two with my credit card and both purchases failed. It doesn't seem right to take away the option to purchase them before purchasing issues have been resolved.

I've been trying to get my payment to work, no luck though. I want to buy both triple packs but unfortunately I doubt I'll be able to since it seems they can't get the payment issues resolved and they're not going to bother with extending the packs again. It's a shame, I was really hoping to boost my gameplay but now I don't really see the point in ever buying an exclusive pack if there are going to be so many issues with them.

I can't log in on PC, it keeps saying I've been inactive for too long and to refresh the page. Refreshing the page does not actually work.

What I've been doing to get around this is keeping a horse page bookmarked, and opening then logging into the site from that page, as it seems to only happen with the home page link. You can also log into mobile first, then switch to classic. Logging in via a bookmarked page is quicker though

You just have to enter your login credentials again. But it bypasses the cookies pop-up.

The login button did not respond for me at all, but I managed to get in and immediately bookmarked a horse page! Thanks for your help.

Quick update. I was able to purchase the starter packs.. though I had to use a different card. Maybe this will work for you as well? Hope something gives.

I am still not able to click on any of my drop down farm tabs so I'm not even able to take care of 90% of my horses. So frustrating.

Type in "howrse forum" on google and log in through one of the forum links....that's how I am able to log in to the game.

I so agree!! I have sent in multiple times and at first they said it was an issue with cache etc.default smiley :k NOT!!! Then they sent a message to me saying they are working on it currently! Hmmmmmmmmdefault smiley (li)

how about instead of doing updates that don't matter like most of your updates. or updates that no one wants FIX the problems. every time you update you mess it up. so fix this mixup before trying to do something new. all we want is a game that WORKS.

Good news! Xsolla is back up, and you can now use it for payments.

As a result, we have extended the May Packs until next Monday, June 23rd, at 10 AM CET.
