Daily Objectives: Tips & Tricks

Daily Objectives

You can now complete two daily objectives each day! Some players can earn equus and others passes, depending on your seniority level.

Find your daily objectives on the homepage of the game, which is the page you see after logging into the game.

Completing the daily objectives seven days in a row will give a Horn of Plenty ! You can check on your progress through the gauge bar directly from the “Daily Objectives” page.

Within this thread players who need help, want to help, or just would like to share their progression with the daily objectives are welcome to post here.

All forum rules apply.

Please note that if you want to discuss the feature itself or give feedback on it, we ask that you do so with the dedicated topic thread for new features here: A new year brings new features!

Warm Regards,

The Howrse Team

Same way you would cover any other horse. You have two 60-second unicorn breeding windows per day that you can activate whenever you want. Go about breeding your uni mare as you would any other hor

You can give your horse a color bonus by equipping it with a saddlecloth, ear bonnet, and polo wraps all having one of the same color. Don’t worry if you have a red saddlecloth and polo wraps, but only a red and white ear bonnet. As long as all 3 are partially the same color, you get the bonus!

How do I find and go on a mission?
By Retired breeder, 22nd October 2020 03:18:38
Where do I find a mission? I went to market and tried the help book. Is it something I need to ask another player? This is one of my objectives and I'm not sure what I'm actually looking for.

missions are something your horse can do after the age of 2 and it is boarded in an ec. You will find the link to do a mission in the upper right of the horses page (unless you are on mobile)

"Receive a gift through item donation."

I thought there might be a thread, like the congratulations one, but I didn't see anything. How do most people go about doing this daily objective?

Thanks.

Am I allowed to borrow a divine horse and give it back after I complete the mission?

No, you aren't. Some objectives can be complicated to do, I'm sorry to say.

Either ask a friend you know in real life, or send a gift to a friend and cross your fingers that they reciprocate, or put a note on your page and congratulate a whole lot of people.

You can find one by searching the horse directories for them, then go to the page of one and there will be a link to stroke it.

How do you buy companions? I need one for my objective... I already attached one to my horse a few days ago.
If there’s a way to unattached the lil creature and place on a different horse?

Someone message me please! default smiley :)

They cannot be bought. The only ways to get them is when they are offered in the Black Market sometimes in the companions chest, won in promos or given by some Divines that offer companions as gifts.

There is also no way to take them off a horse once given to a horse.

How do I get aging potions if I'm too young to buy them with real money?
Retired breeder wrote:

You can get one aging point per day if you answer Archimedes‘s question correctly.
Archimedes is a divine horse, here is the link to Ow‘s Archimedes:
https://www.howrse.com/elevage/fiche/?id=51068546

You can also win aging points when a horse awakes and there are often UFOs with aging points. If you are doing the tutorial objektives, you can also sometimes get aging points for completing objektives.

The best way to get aging points is to put your horses to bed every day after playing with them/training them and stuff, so they get automatically aged when the game is updated at around 6am (I think it was 6am).

Buying aging points isn‘t really worth it, you‘ll have enough after a few days and you rarely need them unless you are competitively breeding.

Help! I'm running into some issues with my objectives. When I attempt to open the objective, an error message appears and tells me to go to the "classic version", but then nothing happens. Any idea how to fix this?

I suppose you are using the App?
Sadly not every feature is available on the App, so sometimes you have to use the PC version. That‘s why you can‘t make the objectives.
Click on the player icon in the top right corner. There is your profile and a lot of options like "Cookie management" and "Log out". Between these two options, there is one called "classical version". Click that button and you‘ll be able to go to the classical version.
It‘s easier to use a Laptop or PC though to play Howrse.

so I haven't had this objective in a while and I'm stuck. the competition between 15-16 energy one, I've gone through both hose boxed horses of both specialties going into all 5 comp types each, and the same for horses not boarded or having no hose in stable. the less costly comps are 10-12, the higher are 21-25. even tried a few divines vs barely trained normal horses and nothing. there's literally no middle ground ones. do i have to go sifting through variations in my donkeys/drafts or something to get a comp in the range? x~x

Does one of your wandering horses still have energy and time?
If so, you could look if one of them is able to enter in a competition that costs 15-16 energy. I found a few Trail competitions for Harpy that cost her 15.8 energy.

I need to reach an equus reserve that ends in 88. Does anybody have any tips, or do I just need to get really lucky?

@Anna Mudge
You can always go and sell a small amount of fodder, each one is sold for a single Equu so you can get the amount that you want without having to lose too much.
