I bet you anything the reason there was no comms yesterday was cause there was NOTHING more planned and they are only mentioning of doing more now cause people aren't happy with how stupid the whole thing was.

I think the best memory I have is getting an NIB 1 star from original 350GP parents. It took a lot of work and time back then. Oh, and seeing the really rare Black Pearl opening. I never had the courage to send anything in back then but it used to open about every 6 months or so.

I agree with the others in that this "anniversary" seems to have been very low key. I missed the 15th anniversary so I was hoping for a chance to get Quindecim at the very least as he's now become one of the anniversary series, but I guess that was maybe too much to expect.

They are probably going to be single-release divines that you can only get for that anniversary.

I got one star rain and that was it

I got 3 Star Rain UFOs.. 2 were mashes and the other 10,000 Equus. This was so predictable as Howrse has rarely shown they care. They constantly claim to care but no actions to prove it. I missed the 15 anniversary but based on reading what others put it sounded like fun. I mean to even get the anniversary Divine you still have to work for it like really.

If anything this was Howrse just using the 20th anniversary as a cloak to cover another cash grab. Rather than showing appreciation towards the players who MAKE Howrse money, they treat them even worse.

I remember there was an option to have your country on your profile page. I thought it was nice being able to see where everyone was from.

And yeah, the star rain was... underwhelming.

Oh I also remember when Xanthos were first introduced and there was no limit on the number you could stroke. I also may have misremembered this but I'm sure at first the chance of winning a HoP was among the players who stroked them in the same hour as you (as opposed to day), so if you stroked them all in the hour just after the 15 min update then it could be very lucrative!

My personal opinion on how to fix this mess..
Allow for duplicates for the divine viginti to get passes from.

Give us all a promo code for a free 20th anniversary divine horse everyone gets

Give us packs that are priced under 50 dollars with a pick your own divine

Allow the store to offer a full free day of pass seeds regardless of them "selling out" cause some people on this game cant always be on for the off and slim chance to get the seeds with a small time window.

I'm sitting here just shaking my head about this poor excuse of a celebration I mean come on!! 20 years!! I also missed out on the 15 year because I took a short break from the game but surely thought this 20 yr celebration would exceed that one and I was excited for the party.It's been 2 days now and nothing. So so disappointing...

Well yeah do a update on all the divines (viginti) that came out. Cause I did want this divine and got a extra thats worthless

I mean, I find it weird that they 1) don't release information in time and 2) that they don't launch the celebration-events on Howrse's ACTUAL birthday (the 8th). This just feels like a last minute attempt to make up for the backlash they have received. While I do understand it might sound ungrateful to complain about not getting any freebies, I still expected more. On the 15th anniversary Quindecim was FREE and easily obtainable. Viginti is much harder to get, considering I've gotten a whopping one diamond card since the start of the event.

Yes, UFO's are fun. But just like the star rain they depend on LUCK and chance, which means a lot of players will still be left without a gift. I think the celebration should be about giving back to the community, not expecting us to spend more passes or money on silly offers. Cory Schneider really put it well; the opinion of us players rarely matters anymore. Countless of times have I seen players giving constructive criticism to various changes, without it being taken into consideration. Just look at the Mushroom-divines for instance

Like all these players in this forum who have been here almost 20, 15, 10, even since the 15th anniversary..

And we get 80$ packs...? Like yes, for our anniversary give us, Howrse, money whilst we give you a star rain that you only get equus and a helios ray from. Happy 10 years on the game.

If better presents and some fun events to do had been given, I think people would be more inclined to buy the packs but this feels like a cash grab, not an anniversary.

ZERO appreciation for the veteran players in my opinion.

WHAT?! THAT 15TH YEAR DIVINE WAS FREE?!!!! I missed a free divine in 2020?! Oh now im mad.. cause I paid to do the card event to get the new divine and had left over passes and got 2 extra ones of the new 20th divine which is useless after getting the 1st one.

Yep, the 15th did in fact give us Quindecim for free! That's part of why I think people were so disappointed with this one, the 15th was really fun and actually felt celebratory, it had games and prizes and stuff to do. The caveat was it was a day long and there was no extension, so anyone who was busy that day or taking a hiatus missed out, but most active players were all here and speak fondly of it.

This one I *was* excited when the star rain started even though I just got mash, cause I assumed there'd be more coming, but then... nothing. Just the star rain, then the promo offers (full price on the reserved sales, guess they REALLY regret giving us Quindecim and want us to use up all our passes from him right away (I didn't partake)).

And then a day later an announcement they'd give us a banner for our avatars... at some point. And UFOs on the admin pages for idk how long which is kind of a nice gesture but still far from what was expected.

I *think* in retrospect the "main event" was supposed to be the cards, but that wasn't really clear at all.

They had also hyped the event up and announced a new Avatar Frame on Discord, as far as I understand it.

It stands to logic that those of us who had participated in the 15th Anniversary would link it to the 15 years Anniversary event, the whole party house.

We had:
- A big event with the aforementioned avatar frame (where you could also get a Quindecim, 250 fragments for Sleipnir and an Ow pet, who back then was unique)
- A star rain event
- A redeemable code for pass seeds and another Ow pet (that made it 2 unique pets)
- A candle search with a Vintage apple, which yes it was a little something but still something.
- Pass Seeds in the store.

OF COURSE we would expect such if you announced that an event was coming with a new Avatar Frame...
