His eyes show no fear, but pain and longing for things he knows ho could never have, and also a tinge of mystery. He is wild, unscathed by human wickedness, as he calls it, never knowing the love and joy an owner can bring. Yes, he had seen horses held back by whitewashed fences, but they said they were happy, at least most of them did anyways. But he knew that that was a life he could never live, penned behind restricting fences, working for pale creatures and letting them touch you and ride on you and twist his long flowing mane and tail into braids and bows, instead of letting it flow free in the wind. No, he didn't envy those pampered pack animals. He was wild and free, a roaming whisper through the wind, owner of all the land he trod on...(got carried away there) that's what i think of when i hear my horses name or even see him...)
