This was the first time I actually tried to get a new release coat. I’ve never done it before and have been getting more and more interested in collecting, but it was so hard
I refreshed the Directories right when everything was released, but the new coats with the “VIP” button next to them completely disappeared!  Not sure what I did wrong, maybe I wasn’t supposed to refresh (?) but maybe 5~10 minutes later the page finally worked, and unfortunately the coat I really wanted was gone

Once it's close to release time, I pull up each horse on a separate tab and then go to the page where you select the coats. It's easier if you have a harmony pack on the horse. Then I sit and watch the clock until it's time. Then I just have to select the limited edition sort, select the coat and apply, go to the next tab. Sounds easy right?

Yeah, that's what I did, too haha! I've seen players post advice like that and I had several horses ready, but idk what happened to my computer
 At least I got the 300c winged unicorn coat by nash12! I really liked it; I managed to get the 200c winged unicorn pony coat from the last release, as well, so I guess I'm at least doing "okay"

If you do that it resets the entire search, which you don't want. You can either click back and forth between chronology and popularity to "refresh" or just leave "limited edition" unchecked and the click it at release time to bring up the new coats that way. Using either of those lets you keep your searches, and more importantly, the payment method. Refreshing the whole page also resets the payment to passes if you had a GA from inventory selected

Aghh, yes, I did refresh the whole page!! At least I know for next time… wow, and I was so excited for this month’s releases. Thank you for letting me know guys

What's really important to know about regular is that there is a 5 minute delay, the coats don't appear until 5 minutes past the hour

What's really important to know about regular is that there is a 5 minute delay, the coats don't appear until 5 minutes past the hour Yes, regular release is always 5 minutes after the hour, on the dot, which i always found weird since the time is listed as on the hour. And the new coats always disappear on the hour, to return as soon as release officially starts, at five minutes after. Its also weird that prerelease is always on the hour, on the dot, with no five minute delay. I have never heard a good reason, or any reason, as to why there is this difference. I'm thinking it has to do with the coats not showing yet at all before prerelease, so it happens on time, whereas the coats need to disappear briefly before officially declaring open season on them, hence the five minute delay. But if that is the reason, then why don't the coats disappear five minutes before the hour, so that the listed time and the actual release time are the same in order to avoid confusion? Or, why don't they just list the regular release time as five minutes after the hour? I don't know, but this isn't the first time i've seen someone in the forums confused about the new coats disappearing at release time like that, which often causes them to miss out on getting the more limited coats they wanted, and i'm sure it won't be the last time.

On my very first release I got caught out by it, this was when Bughs was publishing and I had my heart set on Sunny Weather and Arrbio, still hurts to this day.
 Luckily they are still active on CA, so I can add them to my collection on at least one of the servers I am on, but I still feel that this 5 minute delay should be factored in to prevent it happening to more players.

I was on vacation during the release and didn't have the best phone service so to save myself the frustration I skipped this time, now I'm regretting it haha! I've been picking up a few coats from the sales though. 35 coats and 2/3rds being 100 use would've been a rough release without my desktop

We are never given a reason but typically it is due to a copyright issue.

I love that coat too...put it on one of my pastry babies.

Slowly collecting after a long time of being gone from this game! I have quite a few of coats I used to own that I'd love to find again, but I thought I'd start by collecting some new ones

I haven't been playing Howrse super frequently on my laptop this week. But for the coats:The computer coat is called Frenesie by †Exorzist†. And, the one with paper in its mane and tale is Оригами by Skiba613. Both coats are on riding horses. Also, according to Google Translate, the second coat's name translates from Russian to "Origami". So I guess that's why it has paper in its mane and tale. But the paper made me curious, and I wanted to share my findings with the class lol.

Just had this coat removed. I feel there are various versions of it for different species, mine was on a winged uni pony.
