Even a heavy Divine set would please me and I hate the amount of Divines on the game!

Well I strongly look forward to the upcoming EC changes, I just wish we knew when exactly they were happening!

Lordy lord a heavy divine that actually gave us something useful would be awesome. How ever I'd seriously pout if we could not breed it more than once default smiley (lol)

The EC change gives me semi ticks, in regards of the E merging. But nothing can be done there. I imagine the overall coding of the site needs a major rebuild, before we can get the change. But maybe autumn or winter. Reading the blog it seems like the entire game might change entirely. Wow we're all going to log on and be newbies default smiley :o

So agree, they'd definitely need their own coat.

Retired breeder wrote:

I don't like all of the divines. They are cool and all but hard to get and pointless. BMIS should be easier to get.

default smiley (lol) well not all of them are pointless. Like Chelsea fc said they used to be way more difficult to get. Promos used to be rare, and most player jumped all over the place when a new divine was introduced ^

As to the BM items I can relate. When I joined and only had one horse I was seriously struggling. Constantly ran out of E and AP's, and everybody seemed to have so many BM items. OH wait the AP thing is still an issue. As to the E hummm well I'm afloat. As to the BM items I use the exchange a lot, and enter the lottery etc. Collecting items along the way. You can do it. But it requires a lot of work.

Indeed I can imagine the riot.

On the draft horses, what would be neat is being able to breed/raise them, and train them (just basic stats like strength, stamina, speed) and then work them in EC fields. IE higher stated = better crop gain or quicker grow times. That would seem like the best of both worlds right? Players who want them, get them as normal horses, but it doesn't play havoc with drafties in comps haha. Plus then they aren't *totally* useless, and kinda similar to scare crows in a way, but way more interactive.

This is just my personal thoughts, and in NO WAY any rumor/spoiler/news!

That would be a good idea. I feel like having the crop gain better rather than faster crop time would make more sense, but whatever works for the writers, right? I also think that instead of breeding your own draft horses for your EC on your own, any draft horse at your EC would help with that. And instead of lessons, they can do farm work or whatever.

Also, the average skills of all the drafts boarded there would determine how good a crop gain you have. Just some additional ideas default smiley ^)

I think that instead of spending 3 weeks designing USELESS divines, the horse artists should design some draft horses that could actually help our game!!

Yeah I'd really love to see some interaction like that XD Right now it seems like players either beast up their ECs or neglect them entirely, so something that was a slight more interactive like this would probably encourage more people to work with them :>

And yeah lol! Having drafties boarded at the EC do the farm work would be neat too, I mean you could always breed + board your own stock to ensure they are the best and such. Or if you didn't -want- to mess with them you could have other people put them in and voila you're not forced to work with a new breed/something you don't want to.

*I'm just going to be excited over the EC changes forever man. Just the possibilities! *

This is just my personal thoughts, and in NO WAY any rumor/spoiler/news!

You know the sole purpose of this game isn't Divines right?

Try earning things instead of demanding we get, yet another, Divine horse, useless or not.

Are you mistaking what I said? I said that we shouldn't have more divines, and that we should have draft horses.

Draft Horses will be brought to the game when the EC changes go into effect as stated in the Howrse Blog - so they are working on them (though what part they will play remains to be seen as they could be like Calves for cutting comps [that is, serve no purpose] to being something like Geyser [offer a benefit to the Center he is boarded in])

I'm just glad the EC side will be getting some love - I really don't breed competitively and spend most of my time playing around with my EC

Other people may want the Divines, as I do, more than the Draft horses. Also a lot of people, even I, don't take into consideration how much work it really is to create new horses.

I've been on Howrse since 08 and I'm just now starting to work with my ECdefault smiley xd Still not very impressive, but it should be adequate for when the EC changes occur.

Haha, I have to admit I didn't really care for my poor EC until they made the blog post. Mostly I wanted to have a dependable high lesson + shower box whenever I needed it, but also in anticipation of the merge. Though now I'm leaning more towards spending breeder reserve funds on the EC instead of the other way around haha! I about threw a little party when I hit 50e+ lessons and some rosette comps.

It's kinda a shame the EC takes so much effort to build up that it seems to put off a lot of newer people to that whole aspect of the game. I mean, once you have it running it's really rewarding with little work required unless you're trying to be on the top of the list. -SO- looking forward to the changes mentioned in the blog to happen! I mean, upon reviewing them today there's a lot of big changes planned, so it's no wonder it's taking quite a while, but wow I'm excited for a lot of them (like the planned rides changes oh man. No more 1 hour rides to raise speed? yes please!)

I think draft horses would be a great addition to the game, but I don't understand the big hoo-ha about not being able to compete them, or make new competitions speacially designed for them, because some draft breeds can make good competition horses.
Just my opinion

There are a few out there. They barely do anything though, I believe the divine Geyser helps you a little with meadows or something like that

Yup...ahem:

Geyser is the son of Cascade and Snowflake.

He has outstanding skills that switch every day, which makes him potentially great in any area.

Thanks to the heat it radiates, Geyser increases the fertility of your equestrian center meadows by 3% each day in any season when they are not cultivated (instead of 1% in the spring and autumn and 0.2% in the winter).
This horse cannot be sold.

No, it was player made ( I can't tell if you're kidding or not).

Made-up. It's not a real horse that is being tested, it is merely a player idea.
Oh man, it's happening. Guys, it isn't actually a new breed. Just something a player edited from a fjord in speculation of what a breed might look like. default smiley (y)

I know right? You just have to hope that this doesn't spread to other servers.
