Breyer!
I saw the Schleich topic and realized something. This game needs a Breyer topic page. My favorite breyers are Buckskin Blanket Appaloosa (I have one named Sirocco) and Spectre. I also like Sjoerd and Old Timer (I have the buckskin version). ~Talk about rare Breyers ~Talk about exciting Breyer finds ~Talk about Breyers!!!!!!

I got in my Spectre, and i also got in Slither...but i am a bit disappointed in him. He didn't look like the green on the website picture...more of just a dark paint job with a green sheen. I would have preferred he was more of the green color than just the dark grayish/blackish color. Nonetheless, as a limited edition, i am glad to have him in my collection. Did anyone else get him? What did you think?

At last I've finished etching my custom. He's a paint/pinto etched from a black beauty that had had bump spots from age. I'll repair his chipped ears, touch up the paint, and clear coat him next. I'm thinking I might show him since breyerfest is back in kentucky next year

I just ordered Leif today!! I am new to the Breyer hobby but am loving it! I also ordered Le Mer, Cora and Adamek.
Due to my love of unicorns, I think I am going to focus more on them for the first few months!! I need to get my hands on Obsidian!! And Hyacinth and Wisteria!! I am also in love with the Big Cat series, especially the cheetah and snow leopard. I will be on the lookout for those two for sure!! Anyways, what are your favorite unicorn models? Looking for inspiration and must-haves!!

You mean as in they can release a new model on the mold in the future, and discontinued is when the mold will never be rereleased? I did pick up some new ones today, from Tractor Supply! They are this years TSC exclusives! Imagine my very happy surprise when i went to the nearest one, which is a couple towns over, to get them, and i discover Breyer and some Schleichs are actually ON SALE, which like never happens it seems! So i was like, score! Here they are! Click to display First up is Gibson!  Next is Lefty.  And then we have Merle!  I also picked up this gal, because she matches last year's FFA set, which i have the traditional sized Blue, and the ornament sized one, so this year they released the matching cow ornament. I was in FFA all four years in high school.  Another one i picked up is one of the little Stablemate Unicorn Foal Surprise sets, because one of the parent unis is on the Fireheart mold.  Welp, that's a wrap for now!

I don’t have pictures, but I recently went to a Tractor Supply and got two models I’ve been wanting for a while! Merle and Applegate have been added to my collection.

So I discovered a spectacular nail polish effect, and after some trial and error I've figured out how to use it on breyers. I've coated a dun stablemate in aurora chrome. I love this stuff and I am going to use it on a traditional size gypsy vanner. It shows the existing coat underneath too.
I also made a pinstriped black horse (really hard to do, i wouldn't recommend), a dapple grey with silver hair (easy and great result), and a seriously glittery roan (my favorite small custom) since my test horse was in a four-pack.

a close neighbor's friend was GIVING AWAY!! her collector limited edition 50's and 60's fighting stallion paint (1) and the neighbor knows i love breyers, so she asked for him, and gave him to me last christmas. hes a beauty:

This thread makes me so happy! I'll have to get photos of a few of my favorites next time I'm at my parents house. I used to collect when I was a teen!
