Garret. He was very old and didn't have much get up and go in him but he was perfect for a 4 or 5 year old starting to ride. I loved him more than anything as a kid and I remember being angry when my instructor made me ride Luke instead because another girl wanted to ride Garret.

Kizzy.
Little bay New Forest Pony, she's about 24 now. She looks unbelievably evil, but it's all for show. We always call her Whizzy Woo because she's very fast. Love her so much!! |

The first pony I ever rode regularly was named Dinky. I don't know what breed she was, but she was little and she was a skewbald. I rode her for about a year and then switched barns and went about 8 or 9 years without seeing her. Around that time (probably around 7 years ago) I was working as a leader for a woman who ran pony rides, and one day I got to work, and there was Dinky. I thought I recognized her, and as I walked up to her, her ears pricked up and she reached her nose out to me like "I remember you!" It was the sweetest reunion I've ever had .
