Literally just got a second cumin and I got the the final level so I gained 80 spices for cumin 2

I don't expect big drops every day, but pretty much every single day I've struggled to make it past 10, with today not even getting past level 1. I'm at 25 spices, I got it on Friday, this means I've only got the minimum ever since I got it. Am I really going to need to wait 30 days for 20 passes? It's really discouraging after having to max the meter for it. It also isn't like I'm trying to get to the high levels, I'm just trying to reach 15, yet that seems impossible with this new spice.

I am honestly just wishing that the series was one you woke up and it found spices based on the table provided, this way you would not have had to gamble with the drop rate, and it would have stopped so much frustration. Or, if the game stays, have it so you get the previous levels spices. Even something like that would be a massive improvement over just ending up with 5 every single day.

If our testing is correct, you're not.

Cumin is going to be a much more accurate way to test the Spices. If the game is going to 'compensate', we'll know for certain.

Hi I'm back with unsolicited maths.

To reach 15 spices you need lvl 4, which has probability 0.9*0.8*0.65 = 0.468 of success. You failed 5 days in a row, this would have probability (1-0.468)^5 = 0.0426 (binomial distribution). So what has happened to you is at a 4% probability.

This is relatively unlikely to happen, but you know, 4 out of 100 people will have this happen to them... just unlucky I suppose?

I am officially at 69 spices with Cumin. I keep getting stopped at 7 spices unfortunately. On the contrary, my Cinnamon has gotten to fifteen spices 3 days in a row until now.

If you fail a level you get to 5 spices, it's impossible to get 7 unless you collect at 7, unless my understanding of the Divine is wrong.

I haven’t done a full test yet on Cumin but I got him on March 8 and decided just to go all the way each time, pass or fail. Got his first payout March 13 so 5 days for the first one but I believe the metre came partially filled already? Not every divine does that so I can remember completely but it does look like Cumin will payout in about half the time as Cinnamon if you just keep going every day

41 days. Forty One. Test Cinnamon truly does hate me.

That's 41 days of clicking, (not consecutive though, because being repeatedly ill is not conducive to regular howrsing) aiming for the full 80 each day.

Other Cinnamon where I aim for 15 spices each day paid out after 35 days.

Afraid I've not being keeping track of Cumin because I prefer to pretend it's All Fiiine.

They are lucky they're pretty, put it that way. I even like Gypsum more, because he knows how to manage expectations, the good boy.

Those who got Paprika, is she the same as Cinna, point wise?

It absolutely would.
If she's the same as Cinnamon (28-30 days) that would be a very interesting pattern as it's rare that divines from the same series emulate the same drop rate (ie Agate/Amber)

I'll post after the first fifteen days and hopefully that'll help set a pattern; my Cinnamon gauge helpfully restarted today so I can compare the rate exactly.

Paprika's pattern looks pretty set as having the same drop rate as Cinnamon, especially when comparing to this previous drop from Cinna where we see the max spice drop only twice.

Honestly, after continuing my own testing, I do think its randomized as per the percentages... unless there's a max per timeframe amount (i.e., passes per year sorta thing).

My youngest Cinnamon (my test one, 4x trying for 80s, now testing trying for 30s) has dropped 6 times since I got her January 2nd, and is currently just over halfway to drop 7 (currently at 170 collected since her last drop on May 8th).

For the rest of my Cinnamons (born between Dec 15-19), I always go to 15 except towards the end I'll attempt going for 30s when I get close if one is falling behind to reach a 30 day drop rate. They have all only dropped 6 times, with their current spices collected ranging from 35 to 210. Of those, my oldest Cinnamon has fallen to second last. The average drop rate seems to be every 30 days or so with this method, but can easily vary by +/- 5 days or more.

My fastest drop (I think) was 14 days with my test Cinny (Jan 22 - Feb 4), where I got 5 spices for the first 10 days, and then 3 days in a row of 80 spice drops. I didn't write down the final number, but I think the math would dictate I would've needed 10 spices on the last day.

The slowest drop (I think) was 40 days, also with my test Cinny (Feb 29 - Apr 8). I didn't write notes on that one, but I have vague recollection of accidentally collecting 15 spices at least once on that run instead of trying for 80, which may have messed things up.

It feels like they've been a bit stingier the last couple weeks, failing a lot after the first couple clicks, but that feeling could just be psychological? I guess we shall continue to test and find out!

Your results though seem to be pretty consistent? 30 days with some small variation seems super consistent to me and not randomized at all.

My one Cinnamon and my Cumin have been super consistent, 28 days and 15 days for each.

Hmmm I guess the reason it seems like its "randomized" is because of the couple Cinnies that I have that are falling behind... They are now a good 10 days behind their siblings and even when I try to go for higher to catch up towards the end, the game does not seem to necessarily correct itself to stay within +/- a specific time frame. I kept trying to go for 30 for those two falling behind once they passed the 30 day mark, and they kept failing and only getting 5 spices (ending up with 35-40 day cycles). Also, if it was standardized, I don't think I would've gotten the 14-20 day drops that I've had a few times as well.

And just to clarify, when I say random, I just mean consistent with the % likelihoods of success they tell us. Statistically speaking, it would be possible (though extremely unlikely) to get your 50 spices in like 4 days if you lucked out and got 4 days of 80s in a row, like how it was very lucky I got 3 days of 80 in a row with my test spice for that 14 day drop cycle. If the game were to autocorrect for a 28-30 day drop rate, I don't think that would have been possible, let alone having 25 day or faster drop-cycle at least 5 times now across multiple horses (though mostly my test one when going for 80).

I think it comes off as pretty standardized because most people are doing the same strategy of going for 15 every day, which statistically, will likely lead to a 30 day drop rate +/- 5 days pretty consistently. Whether or not my hypothesis that the drop rate isn't corrected by the game (to speed up or slow down) is true, would likely be easier to see if there was more testing at the "going for 80" level. The testing fun continues!

I've had quite good luck getting to 30 with my spices. I would say I make it there about 30% of the time. In fact, I've had such good luck with it that I am about to have a Cinnamon drop after only 20 days.
