No - it's still available to be used in the black market, so it is not retired.

wings of spirit - nahis is a popular coat so I'm sure you can find a horse with it in the auctions, or private sales when you are able to view them. This isn't really the place to ask for people to send you BM items. If you're desperate to own that coat, why not buy a pass?
freddiemac - I have heard nothing about that coat being retired, I think this person just wants to own it. |

, wings of spirit - that's my Sleipnir you just linked to. He's not got a Golden Apple coat, he's just special.

|
By Retired breeder, 9th June 2009 20:55:27
I traded with another player - we arranged it before cards were activated. (I'll answer any other Sleipnir questions if you PM or post in my forum, just don't want to go too off-topic here...)

I used to have a horse, and i put a golden apple on it.
A couple days later Howrse messages me saying the coat was removed and i get a GA.. It was like pinto standardbred? I can't remember it too well, But it was standing tall and was a paint. |

Oh my sister was gonna get the fire coat for her Irish hunter, heh she should've.
Inner chorus, I shall make googly eyes and drool over your Sleipnir and then I shall mop up my own drool, sorry first time seeing someone owning one. |

|

gaff - Looks like quite a few have been retired recently. Mind sharing which ones you own that are now retired? (Now might be a good time to track recently retired coats down...) The one that I posted towards the top of this page is now retired.
Anyway, just bought this one: I really love the colour orange for some reason. |

Is there some place that it is announced when a coat retires, or did you just happen to click on the coat and realize it?
Thanks for the heads up on the newly retired one Inner Chorus - I found one in the private sales really cheaply. Would love to hear/see any newly retired coats. |
No, there is no public announcement, although if Howrse pulls a coat entirely, they notify the people who had horses with that coat and give them a replacement GA.
