Is Caisias a limited use divine? It says until age 3100?

Does Caisias stop giving hestia's gifts?

Yes all wind divines are limited gift givers, meaning when they reach 3100yo they stop giving you gifts. But you can make them last quite a long time by putting Water of youth on them. You also need to work them correctly and they will drop quite a few gifts.

Yes, the Winds will stop giving gifts at that specified age.

However, most players will only work them when Wind strength (which varies randomly daily) is at least +3, so it will take years in real time until the divine actually gets to that age. On days when Wind strength is less than +3 I don't work the horse/put to bed, so he doesn't age that day

the May Packs people are mentioning? Are they like the Christmas packs?
What's been offered in these in previous years and how much do they usually cost?

Since when do the pass UFOs only appear once? I missed the +1000 the first time it appeared and never saw it again default smiley :(

yeah, the above I was given was "nothing under +5!" but as I would kind of like to get something from these divines before the heat death of the universe, +3/4 is much better advice imo.

Interesting. I tend to only work mine when the wind strength is +6 or +7 unless a lower amount will get them to 100%. Just goes to show you how different players will play thier games differently default smiley :)

I also do +6 / +7 only - 3 6s, and then I wait for a 7 to roll by to get that perfect 100%... this way you pull off a full cycle every year so theoretically that's 100 main gifts + 1000 passes

this does take forever (heat death of the universe default smiley (lol)) but I have a lot of winds now so someone's always getting worked, it doesn't feel that bad haha

since everyone’s talking about it I might drop the wind instructions again

There are a number of factors that go into the drop rate

First of all if you do get the divine, you MUST put a water of youth on it immediately, it doesn’t affect the drop rate at all but it does double the amount of time you can earn gifts (therefore doubling your gifts) before the horse is too old

(Spoiler tags to take up less space)

Wind strength:
Click to display
The wind strength is a bar with 100 points that can be filled by riding over the ocean
The amount of points you get per ride is different each day, and ranges from -1 to 7.
(with scores -1 and 7 having a 6.25% chance of appearing each day and scores 0 to 6 having a 12.5% chance at appearing each day, it will show this under the bar)

What this means:
If you want to get gifts more frequently and don’t care so much about how long you’ll be getting gifts for, you would then want to work your horse more frequently.
If you want more gifts total and for the perk to last longer then you would skip days that will earn you less points.

Recommendations:
I personally have found a nice middle ground by only working the horse on days earning 4 or more points unless I can fill the bar that day with a lower amount.

For those that want to earn more frequently, I wouldn’t recommend working on a day earning fewer than 3 points because it won’t really speed you up that much, but if you’re really in a rush you could do 2.
I would not ever recommend working on a 1, 0, or -1 point earning day that is a scam

For those who want more gifts in the long run I would suggest 4 to 7 point days or 5 to 7 point days, don’t wait for only 6s and 7s though it’ll take weeks

Rides over the ocean per day:
Click to display
You should add Achilles heel and Philotes’ stroke, these paired with an EC with a water trough and a shower will allow you to ride over the ocean 4 times a day

If you have a decent number of pastry horses you can give the divine Croesus fortune and a kairos dial and feed it in increments of 1. Each time you feed it it has a chance to find a sugar cube (+3 energy) and if you find enough you can squeeze in an extra ride over the ocean (5 rides per day)

METHOD:
1. Groom, feed (1) oat, if you don’t find sugar, feed (1) oat then ride over the ocean for 1 hour
2. Mash, feed (1) fodder 12 times or until the energy bar reaches 83%*, whichever comes first
3. Feed (1) oat until the energy bar reaches 96%**, feed (1) fodder unless the bar is higher than 96%
4. Ride over ocean for 1 hour, carrot, feed (1) fodder until maxed out, feed (1) oat until energy bar is at least 94%
5. Ride over ocean for 2 hours, stroke, stroke, water, ride over ocean for 1 hour

It is important if you do this to keep a close eye on the horses weight, as they are prone to getting too fat, a way to prevent this is by entering low energy competitions on days where you are unsuccessful, or by feeding them only oats (still in (1)) on days where you don’t need 5 rides to fill the meter.

*(optional) if you reach 83% using only 6 or 7 fodder, feed up to 8 (still in increments of 1 though)
**(optional) actually somewhere between 96.0% or 96.4% you can check by going into the competition page (but NOT entering) or if the energy bar jumps from 94% straight to 96%, the latter is the faster method

DISCLAIMER: you have to have quite a few pastry horses for this to be viable, I have all of them and I can pull this off most of the time, it also takes a while so it’s not for everyone, I find it worth it but you might not.

NOTE: this also works on Nordics and Solars, with a much higher success rate too, but the exact method differs.

They were a promotional offer offered in May.
They had a combination of Divines and passes, yes, but not as wide nor as good as the Christmas ones.
Most notably, no choice of Divine is offered despite the biggest pack costing upwards of 60€

If they changed the contents they'll probably tell us sooner rather than later default smiley :)

Recieved this message on my Swedish account:

Looks like the Paprika-divine is offered in these packs based on those shadows!

Translation:

Hi!

It’s May, which means May packs are back!

New divines, new companions and new offers awaits from 17th to 31st of May, where you can explore five new exclusive packs.

As usual we’ll present the different packs before they’re available online so you can see what they contain and decide what to get.

Same here. I don't want to waste their age on anything less than 6.

I do the same. I also use Black Orchids on them but no one has mentioned that yet so maybe that's not what people usually do lol. I aim to hit 100% wind power each day they get worked.

I've used Black Orchids before, but it's not very sustainable to use them all the time. Unless of course you've got divines that give them, or you trade a lot for them, luck items, etc. When I've used them I've done it on the max to get the best use. However, it's a BMI I don't have much use for in general, so I trade mine for better BMIs. Aka I never have many on me lol.

I have done that before too or sometimes feed in small increments so they can find sugar (thanks to pastry divines) to get extra energy for rides. But it all gets tedious and time consuming so I don’t always take the time to do it.default smiley (lol)

I trade for them because I can easily get 3 of them for one item, and since I ONLY take care of my wind divines with they have 6-7, it works out pretty well for me.
