Feedback regarding the new layout update:

What is the goal with these recent updates? They claim to fix issues but only seem to create new ones, completely ignoring the overwhelming negative feedback from the community. Merging the classic and mobile versions completely defeats the purpose of having a mobile layout. The buttons are now too tiny to click, and the new menus and bars are highly unappealing.
It is hard not to wonder if the mobile version was gutted just to remove the free auto-feed and competition features, forcing players to buy passes and VIP status. Why ruin the experience for your player base?
This launch would have been much better if we were given a choice between the legacy version and the new layout, rather than having it forced upon us. Players have spent years getting used to the interface. Now, we aren't even given an option to switch between the new classic and mobile versions.
It feels like a betrayal to the loyal players who have supported this game from the beginning. I started playing on the INT server when I was 11 years old. I've stuck with this game through thick and thin, even restarting after my original account was deleted years ago.

But if you truly love something, you have to learn when to let it go. If Howrse continues to ruin the experience of its core community, it might finally be time for many of us to let go of this childhood obsession.
