About Me

23 years on this Earth.
(she/her)

Hello there! I'm a Danish player returning to Howrse after what must be a few years' absence at this point. I used to play on the Danish server as a kid/young teen and later switched over here - and now I'm back and ready to hop into international waters with the rest of you.

When I don't play around with the statistics of digital horses, I work on getting my bachelor's degree in biology. And when studying becomes too much, I spend my time playing D&D, drawing, writing, and obsessing over all of my favourite movies, series, and books.
This uncludes, but is not limited to:

As I mentioned, I enjoy to draw and write. I made my profile pic and the header at the top of my presentation myself :)
If you want to check out some of my work, you can find me here :)

I'm always open for a chat and up for accepting friend requests. I try to help out during events when I can! I also try to reciprocate whenever someone congratulates me :)

My Game

Breeding

When I've played in the past, I've usually stuck to focusing most of my efforts on 4-5 Riding Horse breeds and 2-3 Pony breeds.
Now, I've instead chosen to focus on optimizing any riding horse, pony or draft horse breed I want to perform the best in whichever competition-type fits their genetic makeup best.
I like collecting things, so I've decided not to limit myself breed-wise lol

I train every horse until they have 100 BLUP before breeding them. The only exceptions to this rule are donkeys and filler horses.

Western Riding Competitions

Barrel Racing

Stamina // Speed // Gallop

- Marwari: One of my favourite breeds to work with. I don't know why, but I've been drawn to them every time I've played this game.

- Ban'ei Horse: I'm only just starting up with these guys, but I'll be breeding some proper champions soon enough.

Cutting

Stamina // Speed // Dressage

- Kerry Bog: I'm not taking the breeding of these incredibly seriously yet, but we'll get there before long.

Trail Class

Dressage // Trot // Jumping

- Knabstrupper: A definite favourite breed of mine. Love to work with them, and it doesn't hurt that the breed originates in Denmark :)

Reining

Stamina // Dressage // Gallop

- I haven't found a breed for this competition type yet

Western Pleasure

Stamina // Dressage // Trot

- Freisian: Another favourite breed of mine. There's just something so incredibly alluring about their look.

- Shire: A project breed. I'm having fun with slowly building up the GP of my shires

Classic Riding Competitions

Trot

Speed // Dressage // Trot

- French Trotter: Seems like the obvious choice, no? ;P

Gallop

Speed // Dressage // Gallop

- Thoroughbred: Another breed I have an unexplainable soft spot for. They're just easy to work with and I think it might have been my starter breed in one of my earlier games.

Dressage

Dressage // Gallop // Trot

- Lusitano: My starter breed. Having a lot of fun with these.

Cross Country

Stamina // Dressage // Jumping

- Connemara: Project breed. Slowly working my way towards foals with a good Genetic Potential

- Vanner: I was lucky enough to get my hands on a colt with wonderful stats early on in my game. I'll be using him to start out my own production of high GP Vanners

Show Jumping

Speed // Dressage // Jumping

- KWPN: Pretty sure buying one of these bad boys was one of the starter objectives.

Affixes

I'll be using my affixes to categorise my production based on Genetic Potential rather than breed. Late on, I imagine I'll probably make seperate affixes for divines, unicorns, donkeys and draft horses, but for now, I'll be focusing on dividing by GP.

All the names of my affixes will take inspiration from my home country of Denmark and/or Norse mythology.

The Affixes:
Made in Denmark
My first affix. All non-divine riding horses, ponies and draft horses produced by me with a Genetic Potential below 20.000. Later on, most of these will be auctioned off from birth.

Copenhagen Darlings
An affix for every non-divine horses, ponies and draft horses produced by me with a Genetic Potential between 20.000 and 24.999. For now I'm keeping most foals that fit within this affix, but I imagine I'll be selling most of the colts off soon enough.

Vesterhavsrytterne
Translation: "Riders of the Western Sea"
An affix for every riding horse producd by me with a Genetic Potential between 25.000 and 28.999.

Fenris' Tand
Translated: "Fenrir's Tooth"
This will include the Riding Horses I produce with a genetic potential of 29.000 and above.

Freja's Valkyries
This will include all the unicorns I produce.

Fra Valhals Sale

Translated: "From the Halls of Valhalla"

This will include all my divines.

Selling and Buying

Generally, most horses with the affix "Made in Denmark" are up for sale. If one of them catch your eye, feel free to throw me a message and we'll probably be able to figure something out.
The only ones that I absolutely do not want to part with are my starters: Spirit and Rain (I'm sentimental lol)

Horses with the affix "Fenris' Tand" are not for sale <3

I'm not currently looking to buy unless I seek the horse out myself.
