As of writing this, I have just returned from an 18 month break from Howrse.

I've been playing on and off for several years, but currently I play very casually. I don't have any major goals, simply to be able to sit down and have some fun breeding high quality horses and hanging out with fellow players.

I would say I'm primarily a fan of Lemony Snicket's books, but I can and do definitely appreciate many different types of media.

If you want to take away a little tid-bit of knowledge, here's my submission. Never trust how you feel after 9:00 p.m. I'm serious. If you are having big emotions or thinking highly unpleasant thoughts, check the time. If it's before 9:00 p.m. make sure you're not actively tired or hungry. And if all else fails; take a shower and eat a snack. You might be feeling negative, but at least you know you've properly taken care of yourself.
