Hello my name is Clyde!

I used to live in Florida last time I was on this game, but now I'm residing in Missouri and I love it here! I used to play Howrse on and off since 2010 (for some reason I thought it was 2013 but just realised my math didn't add up and I've actually been playing longer than that lol)
So I literally grew up on this game and it's a home of nostalgia for me here. Few of you on this game might even remember me since I used to be so active in the past!

I left my last account when my life decided to go on a roller-coaster of changes! But came out of this past year and a half excitedly married now with a daughter! Crazy how much can change in a short amount of time, especially since the last time I've been on Howrse.

But some of those recent life changes inspired me to try getting back on the game again and just play here and there for enjoyment.
That life change being that my wife and I are in the process of adopting 2 horses! I never grew up around horses but I was pretty much born out of the womb with a love and passion for horses (hence my history on this game) and it was always my lifelong dream to own my own horse one day.
I used to work on a horse farm in the past, but I've never owned my own before. So I just can't believe it's finally happening! My wife and I are so thrilled.

So Charlie is the one in my avatar, he's 6 months old and I'm so inlove with him a4bc962b6472bd3fac0f915a0ff0c336_v1582023526.png He and I share the same birth month too! I found him from a rescue farm and until I have him fully adopted and boarded, I go there about twice a week to work on his training!
When I imagined myself getting a horse of my own some day, I never imagined I'd be getting a baby and I couldn't feel more blessed!

My wife will be adopting Charlie's mother (which means mother and baby will get to stay together!) You wouldn't guess from looking at Charlie in the photo, but his mom is a beautiful black and white paint!
It will be awhile before she's able to be moved to the farm we are boarding at, so Charlie will probably be separated from her for awhile but my wife has already made so much progress with Ember (the paint)! Ember was rescued from a kill pen, and she's still pretty wild so there's a lot of breaking to do with her still, and she's only just now getting halter broke (which will make it so much easier getting more work done with her now!)
But she and Charlie both have such wonderful demeanors, I can't wait to see how far they come in their training a4bc962b6472bd3fac0f915a0ff0c336_v1582023526.png

I thought all my years on Howrse had me somewhat prepared for genetics in real life, yet here I am still scratching my head wondering how Charlie came out a solid colour! Hahah.

But he does have this really adorable large snip on one of his nostrils, which I think could actually indicate he is a paint and not just one solid colour. The person I'm adopting him from isn't entirely sure either, but we both think he's mixed with thoroughbred at any rate.

Here's Charlie's Thanksgiving photo for your viewing enjoyment!
