Hello! I'm oREAGano and while it may look like I'm new to the game, I'm only new to the global server! If you play on the US server, I used to play a lot under the username lunazebra. I have since passed that account onto someone else and no longer play on the US server. This change happened several years ago when I stopped playing Howrse. I have since been interested in coming back to the game so here I am! I started with Holsteiners and plan to focus on one breed that specializes in each Classical competition. Below is a current list of breeds that I plan to focus on. If you are interested in any of my horses, I am always open to offers, however I still am getting used to the economy on this server, so I may not be the best when it comes to negotiations. If you are more experienced on this server and would like to give me a run down on the current economy and GP levels for various breeds, I would greatly appreciate your expertise! Happy Howrsing!
In addition to Howrse, I also play Star Stable Online and various other games (The Sims 4, Overwatch 2, and a bunch of other random games with my friends). Unfortunately, due to my university class schedule, I don't have much time for games outside of Howrse (which is my main reason for wanting to come back). I also collect model horses and am active in the pedigree assignment side of the model horse hobby. Finally, I've ridden horses for nearly 14 years and currently lease a chestnut gelding named Chester. As you can see, horses are a huge part of my life.
In university, I'm currently a junior majoring in chemistry with a possible minor in biology. I started as a biochemistry major but found myself shifting my focus towards chemistry and changed my major at the end of 2022. I'm on track to graduate in the spring of 2024 and plan to attend graduate school right out of undergrad to pursue a PhD in biomedical engineering or some interdisciplinary focus. I've long been interested in anything STEM related and while chemistry and biology are definitely my favorite subjects, I excel in math and computer science and want to continue to build my strengths in these fields by pursuing a degree that involves them. In the fall of 2023, I will begin my senior research project where I hope to create an allosteric map of Human Prion Protein as a step towards possible treatment approaches for Prion Disorders (yes, I'm aware that's a lot of big words and probably makes no sense to most people LOL).
