I used to have a horse named Blitz. She was a 2007 Quarter Paint mare. She was a red dun with a blaze and 2 white socks in the back. She was an absolute dream. She could be ridden with almost no rein and just leg ques to guide her. I rode English primarily and wasn't competing anymore. I was finally able to purchase her in 2016. She was previously a lesson horse at my riding academy. But our journey didn't start as a lesson horse! I was in what we called "Trainer Camp" at the academy in 2012 and had actually requested have my baby horse changed from a horse who's since passed named Ravyn to this wild, untamed, 4 year old named Blitz. 

Unfortunately, Blitz was put down in March of 2021 from a horrific accident that could have and should have been avoided. She was run into a high tinsel fence by the property owners. They lied to us about 3 times with different stories all varying on what actually happened. At this point we had changed boarding places and it was a tragic mistake. I never received an apology or compensation for the loss of my best friend. I am still paying her vet bill as of 2024.

I have not ridden another horse or been near another horse since that time. I would like to perhaps get back in the saddle, but that might be a few years out still.
