For who likes to read personal pages, here's the long story! I will keep this page updated regularly, so there is always something new to read.
My name (here) is Meeki, I'm an adult player in her fifty-somethings - more and more somethings LOL - born under the Aries sign and living in the Netherlands.

I was dragged into this game during the first Covid lockdown days (December 2020) by my two daughters Kipduif and Ireentje7 (check those pages!) who both wanted to have something to do together in those frustrating times, and I still happen to love the game. When I was a little girl, my greatest wish was to have horse riding lessons and to be able to groom horses. That was never possible, but the pixel ponies I have here are absolutely the next best thing. So my inner 12 year old is having the time of her life.

I had to change my presentation a while ago, because each time I wanted to add anything, Howrse kept telling me the presentation was getting too long.
I know many people liked the whole list of divines I collected and the little stories I wrote about them on this page, but it had to disappear. I'm really sorry about that.
But thank Jupiter you can still check my precious little gods and goddesses out in my ⊹⊱Blue Divinity⊰⊹ tab!

They are all very generous horses who may give you a Horn of Plenty, equus or passes, an Aging Point or a Hypnos' Blanket if you cheer them up with a stroke, a congratulation, a right answer or a defrost click.

One of my goals in the game is to have a lot of beautiful coats and backgrounds in my breeding farms. So many talented people share there drawing skills and their fantasy by making gorgeous coats and landscapes for the game and I love to collect them.
I do hope Howrse will filter out the AI-generated coats that are getting the votes that should go to real artists who put real time and effort in their designs. This is happening more and more these days and I think it's a shame. Sure, these coats may be really pretty but they are made by people who want to gain the profits without putting in any effort, and they should not get any votes.
So I was really happy to read that Howrse is actively trying to keep out AI-generated coats and banning accounts who propose them.
I have a lot of beautiful Golden Apple coats and some Retired Apples that I'm very proud of, and of course the divines that I love to collect as well. Not only for their perks but mostly because they look wonderful.
(If you'd ever quit Howrse (no, don't! just IF...), then please think of me. I'd be happy to give your Apple horses of any kind and (sellable or giveawayable) divines a good home. They will absolutely not be sold or put in Safe Haven.)
And if anyone is thinking about selling this coat (called Flek and made by the wonderful artist sforcia), please think of me! This pretty little horsie is really high on my wishlist.
I don't care about breed, gender or affix, purely about the coat.

Another important goal for me is to keep increasing the prestige of my Equestrian Centre ⊹⊱Blue Sunrise Ranch⊰⊹. On Howrse day 381 I reached my goal of having 100 very comfortable 3*** boxes, all with a flax bedding, drinking troughs and showers.
On my 295th Howrse day I even reached 80% prestige for my EC.
This meant I could finally run all my 5 workshops at the same time, yay!!
(Yes, I got that 5th workshop before I realised there was a limit to the number of workshops you can run at the same time when your EC is under 80% prestige. I learned that real quick after I crafted that workshop. Should have sold it to the store instead of keeping it!
Yeah well. You know what they say: I've learned so much of my mistakes yesterday, that I seriously consider making some new ones today. 
) Here you find my competitions.
From my 63rd day of seniority, there are rosettes to win at ⊹⊱Blue Sunrise Ranch⊰⊹.
So put your best horses in my competitions and you could be the next winner of the beautiful blue and pink ⊹⊱Blue Sunrise⊰⊹ rosette!
Of course my goal was to have all my competitions eligible for a rosette. But for a long time I had difficulty to get my dressage and cross country competitions to that level.
Thanks to the very helpfull players Sport Horse Breeder, Rody76 and FattyFilly (check those pages and congratulate these toppers!!), who have been and still are putting their top horses in my competitions every now and then (yes, they're spotted!), my dressage and cross country competitions finally got their rosettes on Howrse day 747 and day 751. Goal reached! 
Thanks so much sweet people for all the help!! (and more will still be highly appreciated of course, because I do not want to lose these rosettes again LOL)

Another goal: to improve my Grand Prix results. My goal was to end up in the Top 100 one day.
On Howrse day 675, to my big surprise I got a message from Howrse that I had won the trophy Fountain for my collection Grand Prix.
In the Vologda GP (October 24th - 28th 2022) my Western horses reached place 95!
Goal reached!!!
Since then, I've unlocked it 6 more times and won the next Fountain trophy.
It's going up and down a bit since that day. Must say it is a little disappointment that I also lost the Fountain again 7 times
So every week I'm trying hard to get it back again, but the chances are getting smaller and smaller because the best GP breeds like Thoroughbreds and Lusitanos are going up so fast I can't keep up.
But never mind, it's all about the fun isn't it?

On day 416 I found myself at the **1st** place in popularity. Highest ranking possible with 374 page views. Unbelievable.

Although ranking in itself does not mean much to me, it's great to know that so many people have bothered to visit (and hopefully read) my page.
On day 450 I was so happy to welcome my 400th (!!!) Howrse friend!
I can hardly believe it.
A number of them I sent a friend's request to myself, but most of them requested me. For help in events or just because they like my page or maybe me, I do not always know, but it doesn't matter. Everybody is most welcome in my friend's list.
I'm a very lucky person to have such a huge circle of friends around me.
Day 575 was the day I have welcomed my 500th friend!
(Okay those Piñata events do help, lots of people want to find friends. But still! 500!!! You impress me guys! *wow*)
On day 735 friend number 600 joined the list. And on day 1032 I found myself having 700 friends! Unbelievable and great.

There really are lots of sweet and friendly people in this community. So many of them have sent me lovely messages about how reading my page made them smile. So great to read because it is exactly what I hope to achieve with it.
Be sure your kind words aren't forgotten.
They all made my day and they are very inspiring. I have saved all of these messages on my computer and will keep them in my heart forever.
I think those messages also reflect a bit how I try to live my life. I prefer to look for the positive in every person and every situation. Look at what is there, not at what isn't there (anymore). Don't dwell on the negative. Focussing on the good and positive things in life will get you the furthest in the end, I strongly believe.
That doesn't mean that life can't be very difficult sometimes, but there are always bright spots. Sometimes you have to look really hard for them because they can be very, very small, but they are there. Like sparkling little fireflies.

I think I can help you more by showing you how to do things or where to find the information, than to just *POOF* magically solve your (!) problem.
I always try to answer the same day, but don't be grumpy with me if I don't. There's only 24 hours in a day and I also have a family to take care of. They will always be priority #1.
Besides that, this is the International server, which means there is a real chance you and I are in a completely different time zone! While you write your message, I might be tucked up in my bed and dreaming away...

I've made some good friends here already, they are from various places on Planet Earth and getting to know them a little bit better is one of the things I really enjoy here.
