8/8/23 - I am still continuing to attempt to breed a good cross between a high GP Appaloosa from my own stables with another breed that doesn't have the extreme weakness in the trotting stat to create a more well-rounded horse. I am currently trying a cross of Appaloosa and Peruvian Paso, as that will give a massive boost in the trot skill without tanking the gallop and dressage traits- something that I don't want to compromise on. I am raising a pair of high GP Peruvian Pasos that I hope to BLUP in the next few days before breeding them with my best Appaloosas (currently Taroko and He's A Socialist or Monty) to hopefully achieve more skilled horses that can go on to breed from within the stable. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
8/4/23 - My current goals are to build up a group of high GP and BLUPed Appaloosas, as well as experiment with cross breeding between breeds to create an Appaloosa that doesn't have the same skill drawbacks in the trot category that they currently have. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Breeding

I started out breeding Shires, but I'm now getting into breeding Appaloosas with a focus on high GP scores and BLUPing as many horses as I can. My current horses being used for breeding can be found under "Showtime Stables" on my profile. My favorite coats at the moment are snowflake patterns, though I am not currently breeding to collect colors. 

My Horsesona

The horse featured on my page is my horsesona! They are a crossbreed of an Irish Draught & Belgian Draft with a strawberry roan coat and light feathering at the hooves. The black horse is my friend Neptuniite's horsesona, and you should definitely check her out as well!
