I used to play this game all the time but life happens so I lost all of my stuff due to the new system deleting inactive accounts. Looking forward to making new friends and seeing if some of my old friends are still here. I love to write and have a few books in the making so wish me luck and I hope one day you will enjoy reading them.

Wolfdogs are domestic animals that can be owned by an individual without a USDA license. Unfortunately, some states have made it illegal to own these animals so please watch out for scammers. The link above Texas Wolfdog Project has the best resources for you to learn about wolfdogs if you have no idea what they are about. Wolfdogs were essential for the breeding programs to rehabilitate wolves into the wild. Some zoos still have high content wolfdogs in their programs for breeding as they were on the endangered species list for a few decades. Other species of wolves like the Mexican Grey Wolf and the Red Wolf are still endangered. Wolves still on the endangered species list are illegal to own. These animals are not for everyone, they tend to be very shy, timid and skittish even when properly trained or socialized.
Horses being another favorite animal of mine I must bring awareness to the issues they face as well. On here it is all in good fun but in the real world outside of Howrse, race horses often face horse slaughter after they retire. Fighting against horse slaughter and over-breeding is so important. Most of the horses slaughtered are horses from the race tracks. We have seen a significant decrease in bringing awareness as we have seen it plummet from 340,000 horses a year in the 1990s to about 20,000 a year in 2024. Ways to stop slaughter is to encourage responsible breeding and retirement pastures for race horses. Derby horses are usually owned by the rich and elite. THEY CAN afford to take care of these horses to the end of their lives.
