Chincoteague/Assateague Island has always (and most likely will always) be my favorite place to visit. The people I have met there, whether it be tourists or locals, have been kind, and I value that. The ponies are beautiful and are my favorite breed in the world. It's a place with amazing memories... <3

Let me share a story. This was a few years ago, but my family and I still remember it clear as day. We were driving into the forest on Assateague Island when we drove by a sign saying "Fire Danger- Chance of Fire Today". Now, for the entire time we had been there, I had read it...wrong. So, one day, I finally spoke up. 

"What's a fire-dancer?"

There was silence for about thirty seconds.

Then...

"You mean fire danger?" From my mom.

My dad and sister were laughing so hard.

Then my dad spoke.

"Chance of fire-dancers today: low!"

To this day I am made fun of about it. They even say they're naming a pony Firedancer!

So, here I am with the username Chincoteague and a load of ponies!
