Hello, I'm an old player despite what my seniority says, been on/off this game since I was in middle school but I'm excited to start taking it seriously again. I lost my old account due to inactivity but I'm ready to get back on the horse and get back to where I was.

Projects

Tekes- I started off my new game with tekes, got a few very well bred horses and now they've become one of my many mini-passion projects. Drusilla is currently my top brood mare, and I'm excited for Leonidas and Grigori to be good studs for low prices. I'm so excited to play with this breed as my old focus had been mustangs/thoroughbreds, though I do plan on picking them back up.

Mustangs- I adore this breed irl and in-game. They're my absolute favorites, and I cannot wait to start producing high quality horses. Right now my entire stock is young and I'm not too concerned with spending aging points on them until I get my tekes to where I want them.

Thoroughbreds- My secret loves, these horses were the start to my love of this game in my previous game, all only shown in racing. I think they're so sweet even if their image has been updated to be softer and rounder.

Vanners-  Honestly I just think these are beautiful horses in-game and I found some good stock for cheap and I'm looking forward to working with them on here bc I've noticed they're slightly different in raising up versus thoroughbreds and tekes.

Tips and Tricks

Always feed your horse last, it gives the most energy in comparison to the other energy givers in the care routine. If you feed before you give the energy boosters then you'll get nywhere from .1 to 1% energy and it's not very helpful when trying to train your horse/foal. If you can guess how many oats your horse will need at the end of the day, it'll save you time and give extra energy to start off with if you feed them all of what they'll need all at once.

Enter as many of the same type of competition as possible. Some are easier and take less energy, like english cross-country competitions, while others such as dressage take a lot more energy but in my experience it's been easier to get the 20 wins to BLUP a horse by entering mostly same-type competitions.

Have a few horses you keep just to do kinda poorly if they compete, or just to get aging points from as you take care of them. I only have a handful of these sorts of horses but they're handy and nice to have around for some of the daily objectives going on right now.

Participate to the best of your abilities in all the special events, you can get some really cool and surprising items from them and it's handy to have the chance and likely probability to get a couple of black-market items.
