I've been playing Howrse on and off again since I was a kid and I am now 24 years old, with a job in the Tourism Industry.
Breeding Farms Breakdown
Donkeys/Drafts - Horses that have more specific covering requirements. Once they have completed breeding they are transferred into the AP/Lesson Farming Tab.
Specials - Unique Horses for me, includes special coats, divines, and immortal horses.
Unicorns - For keeping tabs on all the unicorns I am actively breeding/training
AP/Lesson Farm - Horses that I am not invested in breeding or training but great for farming for Aging points and general Comps.
Other Horses - Unsorted, undetermined willing to sell.
