I am Artist1919,I have been playing off and on for years. My sister introduced me to Howrse years ago. I have created multiple accounts due to them being deleted to inactivity over the years. I have always enjoyed playing on here. I also play World of Warcraft and have been playing off and on for 8 years. I enjoy listening to music, going on adventures, and going out to enjoy nature.

 I am in college to me involved with mental health services. I would like to help others on the journey to improving their mental health. I find that if your mental health isn't doing well, that your overall health isn't well. I would like to let others know they aren't alone in how they are feeling or what they are going through. The idea that taking the big step to seek services for your mental health, it is 100% okay. You are not weak or powerless. You are strong and have strength to keep getting up and getting through each day. I'm thankful every morning that I wake up with my heating beating in my chest, a reassurance that I am alive. 

I changed my major from working in the mental health service field to working within the correctional system. I feel that the criminal justice system needs to be reform and modernized to lower recidivism and truly try to rehabilitate individuals who still have an opportunity to change their life around for a better successful future down the road ahead of them. Substance abuse addiction can be a main reason for several. As to why someone may be incarcerated and may be struggling with their addiction. Incarceration may not help as they may relapse when released. In current events with the amount of overdoses that occur and opioid epidemic that has been a societal issues for years.
