You can call me Joker.
And as you can see, I'm a lot happier.
A little about Mr. J:
I love all living things, especially fish, reptiles, inverts, cats, and amphibians. Mules are my favorite equines, but I love donkeys and horses too. Basically, if it lives, I like it. I love screenwriting, sound design, prop master work, directing, acting, stop-motion animation, macro photography, puppet-making, and really everything to do with theatre and making films. I love old tech, classic cars, steam locomotives, analog and mechanical equipment and things, and I absolutely adore older films and shows, like Batman (all of them but I love 1966, 1989, and 1992 the most, though The Dark Knight is phenomenal too), Hogan's Heroes, James Bond, Star Trek, and Lupin III. My favorite movies of all time are Black Beauty, How to Train Your Dragon, The Aristocats, and Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro. I have a huge soft spot for traditional hand-drawn animation. It's just a beautiful work of art. Snow White and Bambi are a fantastic example of this. Just beautiful masterpieces, not just through the art but the music too. Incredible soundtracks and sound design are a huge part of what makes a movie amazing. And there's something so special about a lot of older works, especially in older cartoons, like Merrie Melodies, Silly Symphonies, and Terry Toons where the music would match the actions of the characters perfectly and the instruments used would be perfect for the kind of character too, like if they're a certain type of animal. And not just that but the way anything could come alive was just so incredibly special, like in Skeleton Dance and The Mad Doctor where anything could move, any inanimate object, and bend and stretch in any direction, turn into something else, like a tree branch would turn into a hand to grab someone, or just move in a unique way. That made it so fun and I wish more cartoons today would still implement some of the old techniques. And you know what I've just realized that so many films are missing these days? Jazz. We need more fun, bouncy, jazzy tracks:) On that note, I am a saxophone player and I mess around with guitar, penny whistle, and I would like to learn accordion, bagpipes, and erhu someday.
Just a note! None of these images are mine. I just found some cool ones from my favorite movies and shows.
