Romans 2:28-29
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Great Songs (Links):
Purifying metal by fire to remove impurities just like God uses trials to purify people under heat and pressure to allow the impurities in us rise to the surface. If we allow God to work in us, He will remove the impurities from our hearts and purify us. --->
Read Romans 3:22-28 twice God says that it is HIS Righteousness of Jesus that covers over our sins and NOT our own. Isaiah 64:6 says that our very best efforts of righteousness on our own is still like Filthy rags to God because all of us have sinned and are stained by sin, no matter of good effort to be moral can cleanse the sin from us. Romans 4:4-5 He says that "Faith is counted for Righteousness".
Romans 3:22-28
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Isaiah 64:6
6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Romans 4:4-5
4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
The Righteous cannot lose their salvation. John 6:37-40 ; John 17:12 ; John 18:9.
He has lost NONE. Only the Son of Perdition which was not Judas because Judas was never saved - Jesus told all of the disciples that Judas was unclean before Judas ever betrayed Him. None of the disciples suspected Judas, Judas had put on such a convincing act that he had all of them fooled but not Jesus because Jesus could see his heart and thoughts.
The Righteous will remain like Wheat.
The wicked will be cut off like an unfruitful tree and will blow/burn away like Chaff.
Make sure you know where you're going when you die because the time is short.
