Bolerame Acres is pleased to own 23 Divine and is dedicated to breeding horses of exceptional beauty and talent. We are striving to produce the highest GP horses that we can that will excel in the games and attain skills in the 22500's. Our horses are attaining jump skills of 6100+.
Camelot Equestrian Centre is a work in progress. We do have immaculate 18m stalls with flax bedding, over 500 immaculate acres of meadows that are rotated daily and we supply carrots and health mashes. We have worked very hard to move our centre into the top 300s and will continue to work hard to keep it there. Our lessons pay 60e with a .25 increase.
Bolerame Boxers Reg'd is a real time showdog kennel. We pride ourselves in breeding and showing Boxer, Boston Terrier and Borzoi dogs of exceptional beauty and temperament. We have a litters occasionally. You can view our site at http://www.bolerameboxers.com .
In real time: We have been involved with horses for over 40 years. Our first horse, together as a couple back in 1979, was a gorgeous buckskin Morab stallion named Canoga's Classic Cody (or simply... Cody). His sire was a beautiful blood bay reg'd Morgan named Spruce Lane Smoothie. His dam was a reg'd Arabian.
Our next horse was a lovely dappled grey, reg'd Thoroughbred mare, by the name of Magnum Grey. We called her "Maggie" Maggie had one foal. A pretty grey filly whom we named Magnum's Desert Storm. Her grandsire was the famous race horse Alydar. Alydar was also sire to the equally famous racehorses Alysheeba and Easy Goer.
After Maggie came a 15.3 hh, flashy chestnut Appendix Qhorse gelding named Ireland's Jet. We called him Irish.
We bought Irish for our then 14 year old daughter, Rachel. Rachel turned him from an under-nourished meat packers rescue, to a lovely hunter/jumper. Rachel went on to purchase a T-bred mare, Cadia, while living in Australia. Cadia was from the legendary Man O War lines.
Back in Canada, Rachel purchased the magnificent T-bred, Titan, a grandson of the fabulous racehorse, Seattle Slew.
Out of her lovely Holsteiner mare, Holly, Rachel had a beautiful, 3 year old, Holsteiner/Friesian filly, Belle, who is sired by a son of the magnificent Friesian, Tietse 428 (look him up online).
Rachel currently owns a gorgeous T-bred eventer gelding, Murphy, 2 miniature horses and a Quarterhorse.
Besides loving horses, we have a passion for breeding and showing reg'd Boxer, Boston Terrier and Borzoi dogs. Our pride and joy was Can.Ch.Bolerame's Arwen Evenstar, more commonly known as "Honey". Below is a photo of Honey winning the First Award of Merit at the Boxer Club of Canada National Specialty in 2006. Honey passed away on July 27, 2013 a month shy of her 9th birthday. We will miss her forever. We were there when she took her first breath and we were there when she breathed her last.
Honey's half sister, Canadian Champion Bolerame's Miss Moneypenny was a lovely brindle who earned her championship in quick time.
We attained our first Borzoi from Laureate Borzois in Washington state in July 2015, Laureate The Colour of Magic at Bolerame (aka Magic).
Laureate's The Colour of Magic at Bolerame - 1 1/2 year old.
After Magic came Bowie, Wolfwood's Midnight Aurora. Bowie is sitting on 6 points and needs another 4 to finish his Canadian championship.
On Oct 16th, 2016, we brought home another beautiful girl, Laureate's Made Marion at Bolerame (aka Pippin). She's a beautiful baby who is an awesome addition to our family.
We share our century old home with our 19 year old daughter, Meghan; 5 boxers: Cocoa, Kitty, Caleb, Digby and Ado; 6 Boston Terriers: Jo Jo, Jelly Bean, Neil, Prim, Boo and Anchor (aka GrCh.Ch.Tasco's Texas Two Step); 3 Borzoi: Magic, Bowie and Pippin and 1 Long Coated Chihuahua, Eva.
