About Me and Native Spirits Farm

Welcome to Native Spirits Farm.  I'm Rose.  Though I often say "we" on the farm do things, the truth is that I'm the only real person behind the screen.  Everyone else in the "we" is just a creation of my imagination.  I'm an adult player.  Because of that, I'm blunt and straightforward.  If you're looking to have things sugar coated, I'm not your gal.  That being said, if you have questions or concerns that aren't addressed here, please feel free to PM me, but expect a blunt response.

I enjoy chatting through PMs, but prefer to chat with adult players who have more to say than "Hi".  If you're not capable of carrying on a conversation, then clearly we won't be able to chat.  I won't be the only on contributing.  I'm sorry.  I don't have time for that.

I accept friend requests for the purposes of promotions.

Personally, I'm an adult and that means I have a job.  I have a very demanding job, actually, so I'm often busy.  When I'm not busy, I entertain myself by doing fun things like writing Walking Dead fanfiction and Star Trek Voyager fanfiction because I'm cool like that.  %28B%29_v1828806360.png

I've been playing Howrse for years now.  I go all the way back to the original version of the game, when it was quite new.  As a result, I know a good deal about the game.

Here on Native Spirits Farm, we have quite a few breeding projects going on.  We don't breed competitively, however, and everything done here is pretty much for enjoyment only.  That being said, if you should ever want a covering from any stallion (donkeys and drafts not included), please let me know and I'll offer you one at the lowest possible price.

Please have a look around and learn a little more about Native Spirits Farm!

Poker Stars

The Poker Stars around here are the donkeys.  They are my favorite project on the farm.  I currently own 247 immortal donkeys in my collection (if I haven't forgotten anyone).  The immortal Poker Stars never leave the farm and they each have their turn being bolded for retirement.  I used to BLUP them all, but honestly it was far more hassle than it was worth in the end.  If you're interested, there's plenty of information on them in the forum.

In addition to our immortal Poker Stars, there are also a number of breeding pairs of Poker Stars that are always active on the farm.  These donkeys rarely offer outside coverings, but when they do, they'll be offered in the public coverings and are free for anyone to take.  Please don't contact me asking for special coverings for donkeys, as I won't be aiding you in that!

Collections

Here on the farm I collect a lot of things.  My favorite collections include my immortal Poker Stars, and my immortal coat collection.

None of the immortal horses on my farm are for sale.  Sorry.  There's no need to ask.  You won't like my answer.

In fact, if you're looking to see just who *is* for sale on the farm, have a look at the sale barn located under the "Working and Sales" tab.  There's seldom any horses for sale, but if there are, they'll be located there.

I collect immortal GA and DA coats, both retired and otherwise.  I also collect immortal Donkeys.

In addition to my immortal collections, I also collect "coats" for the Trophies, but this is something done as an "extra" and is not a firm focus on the farm.  I simply pick up cheap horses here and there, when they're available, to cover all the coats for all the breeds.

Project Work and Breeding

As stated in the "About" section, on the farm we don't breed horses competitively.  That doesn't mean, however, that there aren't breeding projects going on!

Primarily my breeding projects simply include tinkering with the breeds that I find interesting.  Other than that, there is also donkey and unicorn breeding that takes place.

Beyond that, however, I also have the Sweet Sixteens project that I've been working with for ages.  They are horses that are a perfectly even mix of 16 different breeds.  I have 9 lines of those horses that I work with.

Also coming soon, but not being discussed in great detail at the moment, is the 32 Flavors project I've been planning for some time now and am just getting around to working on.

The pictures that I use here are not my actual pictures.  I got many of them from google.  If they are your personal pictures, please let me know and I'll be happy to credit you.
