In my early days I really just bred what I thought was pretty. These days I am more interested in skills and GP, but I still have a lot to learn. Horses in my “Skilled Studs” and “Distinguished Dams” pages all have BLUP=100. Horses I am currently working to increase the BLUP scores of are in my “Promising Prospects” page. I will not breed horses currently in training, but I am happy to notify you when they are available to breed to! I will support breeding requests to any other horses of mine as best I can.

I have some vintage apples and no specific goals on how to use them. I'm sure I will in time (I prefer the gen 2 art on Vanners and Shetlands) but if this is here I still have some and I am open to using one on a horse prior to selling if that's something you'd like.

How long have I been here?

I was here when...

• You gave apples to your own horses.
• You gave salt stones to your horses.
• Horses could get sick and die if you didn't call the vet, and keep them up to date. If the EC your horse was registered at when ready to deliver didn't hire a vet, your horse would die.
• There were only five breeds: Arabian horses, Appaloosas, Paint horses, Thoroughbreds, and Quarter horses. No donkeys or ponies.
• There were "deadlines" and when you met the seniority deadline you got free stuff.
• They got rid of deadlines and gave you riding levels. You had to answer questions on real horses right every so many days to progress in the levels.
• There was no mobile version of Howrse, and certainly no App!
• There wasn't an ideas forum.
• The international server was the only one.
• If you didn't log on the day your mare was going to foal, you lost the foal.
• There were no trophies.
• There were no pets.
• ...and then there WERE pets.
• And then there wasn't again.
• And now there ARE again.
• There was no Heliois' Ray.
• There were no promos
• Then there were promos maybe four times a year
• Before the lottery or wandering horses were even thought of. Or the cards.
• Before there were any Howrse Help sites online.
• Rivenwood was an ADMIN.
• There was no Western riding on Howrse
• No barrel racing in the Western riding after they added it.
• Before and after the Owlimpiads
• Before Divines and specials
• Before green stars, red stars, or the GP race was even on anyone's mind. Heck a 10* horse was a pass horse once.
• Before any breeding groups
• Before any NIB breeders
• Pegasuses had white wings and unis had white horns
• Fallabellas were pets for your EC
• You started out with nothing but a foal and a tiny bit of Equus- no free horses.
• There were NO Quests when you joined. ZERO.
• Before Ow was even on Howrse, let alone Howrse's mascot.
• There were only three ADMINS, and no moderators.
• Before Howrse changed the HTML code requirements for people's pages and messed up all the graphics people for a little while
• Before and after vaccines.
• Back when ECs needed to be fully staffed and that staff was made up of other players you hired and payed.

Oh how far this site has grown, as have the players who were here for the beginning.

I remember when horses looked like this, and I have had fun through all these years.
