How often are special / divines in the for you sales? How many days / months in between sales? I want to know when to save up passes.

There's no set time period between reserved sales but they are quite frequent now - around every 6 weeks or so. Your best bet would be to save passes anyway so that, when they appearr, you can buy the divine if you want that one.
Agree with the other answer. Saving up passes is *always* a good idea.
With the daily objectives alone, you can obtain 30 a day which means around 900 in a month.
