If you give one of the love horses to your friends, does it leave your farm? Or are you giving them a love horse and keep your own? Thanks

You give that horse to your friend. Not a copy, that horse. You won't have that horse anymore.
In addition: it can't be given back either, because only the breeder of the horse can give it away.
