Is there a way to turn off "Show competitions for low level horses"? It's always automatically selected and no comps show up. Very annoying

are you a new player? I think that is something that is set up to help new players and will turn itself off (unless you select it) at a certain seniority. (I cant remember when, I'm sure someone will add this info).
Addition to the other answer: it will stop indeed, if I recall correctly that happens when you finish your beginner's objectives.
Until then you will have to turn it off manually each time (and yes, that is *very* annoying!)
Low level competitions are only available to horses that meet the following 3 conditions:

1) Less than 20 wins
2) No skills more than 3680
3) No genetic potential more than 5170

The low level option is based on the specific horse, not seniority: if a horse does not meet *all* these conditions, the box will appear, but show no competitions when selected. If a horse does not meet condition 2, the box does not show up at all.

It does stop being automatically selected after you have some seniority, however.
