I'm wondering if anyone knows the formula for calculating max IBS from the current GP that I have and max GP that I can get from 2 horses.

If both the dam and sire have +100 BLUP, then the calculation of the resulting foal's IBS is as follows:
IBS = (Sire's GP + Dam's GP) x 10%
with a variation of +/- 4%

If you give Aphrodite's Tears to the dam before breeding her, you can increase the IBS of the resulting foal by 50% and that calculation is as follows:
IBS = (Sire's GP + Dam's GP) x 10% x 1.5
with a variation of +/- 4%

If one or both of the parents have less than +100 BLUP, you need to recalculate the portion of the GP that will be passed on through IBS.

If the parent's BLUP is +90, then multiply their GP by 0.90.
If the parent's BLUP is +80, then multiply their GP by 0.80, etc.

There's no established formula for the maximum GP that can be obtained from two horses as GP gain per generation is partially dependent on the maximum GP of all horses in the game, which is increasing daily. Standard practice amongst Prix teams is to breed for top IBS for skillers, not necessarily GP, especially as gains are small at top GP.
