That is not how chances work. Compare it with throwing a dice: the chance to get a 6 is 1 in 6 for each new throw. That is how it works with the unicorns too.
So you can get like a 100 non-uni foals in a row if you're unlucky.
Chances work with real big numbers. Take it over like 10,000 unicorn pregnancies and you'll see that roughly 1 in 4 gave you a unicorn foal.

The only ways to have a 100% unicorn foal guarantee are
* using a Hestia's gift on the mare
* having a mare that had 5 non-uni foals (or twins) after January 2024. The 6th covering of that same mare will guarantee you a unicorn foal.

So if I look at my unicorns and go to the ? tab, it says...
"After the same unicorn mare foals 5 times without giving birth to a unicorn foal, the 6ᵗʰ is guaranteed to be a unicorn foal."
That's a direct quote, and then it says lower down, because I have VIP, my unicorn odds are 1 in 4 instead of 1 in 5. which means if I don't get a unicorn in the first 4 with that mare, the 5th should be guaranteed.
And Ive had multiple girls have 5 foals from different covers and none of them had horns.
