If it's for the beginner objective, it's really easy to increase your ranking just by logging in tomorrow, maybe train up some horses to increase their skills. The ranking won't update until overnight, so you won't see a change until you log in tomorrow.

For a more technical answer, in case you want to work on increasing it further later:
Your General Ranking Score is mostly composed of the skills of your best 10,000 horses, with trophies, collections and seniority counting some as well. It's overall easiest to increase your Score, and thus the rank, by getting higher skilled horses. Whether that's training what you have, and breeding/buying them
