Go to the + sign by the horse's name (On its page) and click it, then click sell. You can sell it in auctions, where it will be for sale for 3 days gathering bids, highest bid by the time the auction is over gets it. Or, you can sell it in direct sales, which allows players to buy it automatically, and you can sell it in reserve to a certain player.
There is also an option to sell a horse to the Safe Haven which will be sold for 500 equus.
