I was doing a riding lesson (this was back when I was a beginner) when I started trotting and didn't put my feet in the stirrups. Next thing I new, I was on my butt.

I was cantering and I lost both my stirrups, then I was on the ground.

I was once doing a jumping lesson and I was cantering to one of the jumps in the middle of the course and the horse I was on just stopped dead in front of the jump, I was already folding forward for the jump so just went straight over his ears and landed on my bottom the other side of the jump!

My horse was jumping and was spooked by a jogger with his dog. I was going one way and he went the other.

It was my first lesson ever, I was prob 6 or 7 at the time and I didn’t know how to tack up. I’m guessing my trainer forgot to tighten the girth and I just slowly slid off the side of the horse with the saddle underneath me without telling her thank god the horse was an calm one otherwise I would have been trampled

Okay, I think I've posted here before, but I'll say it again. XD

One Halloween lesson, all of the lesson kids were competing in games for candy. I decided to play a prank on my sister by moving her candy, but when I leaned over, my horse's saddle slid off and I had to step down. It was pretty funny. XD

This happened just a few days ago. My sister and I were riding her chunky QH mare bareback. She spooked at a tumbleweed and bunny hopped to the right 2x. My sister bounced with her the first one and then with the second bounce she tumbled to the dirt. Could not stop laughing.

My horse had just gotten off of stall rest from a shoulder injury and he was on pasture rest for a while to, I got him saddled up after a while and the we get to the arena and he decides to spice things up by taking off. I jumped off not so gracefully (not a good look for a barrel tacer who can't hold on to a galloping horse) and when I landed my knee snapped to the side and hurt real bad. I did not go to the doctor so now 5 months later my knee is hurting and I should go to the doctor but no my mother has some "supplements" for my knee which they are kind of helping. So yeah I'm doing great.

Did a draw sticks game in the middle of a lesson and drew the smallest pony (my legs are INSANELY long). My trainer just cackled as I tried to balance myself on essentially a large basketball worth of ribcage. When it came time to drop stirrups, pony jigged left and I jigged right.

I ultimately spent maybe 3 minutes tops on the tiny pony and my trainer apologized to the pony default smiley :-))

My horse's name is Slim he is a 8 year old gelding who does pole bending and barrel racing with me. Alright, enough of me talking, let's get into the story.

I was in a youth rodeo, doing the poles. Slim never did poles with his last owner so I had to re-teach him poles. This was my third time doing poles in a rodeo, the first two runs me and Slim did amazing on, the third... Not so much. They called my number, I started heading over to the gate when I saw my friend, I gave him a nod hello then entered the arena. I got lined up to where I was supposed to go then we took off, I was pushing him forward (Not the best idea) . We got to the second to last pole, I started to slow him down by sitting and pulling on the reins (Not much) right as I sat down in my saddle he turned, remember this is the SECOND to last pole. I wasn't expecting that, I almost fell out of my saddle, my foot was caught in the stirrup, luckily Slim started to slow down and head towards the wall where two men were standing. I couldn't see anything, my foot came out of the stirrup and I fell, one of the men actually CAUGHT me right when I fell. The crowd gasped, the announcer laughed and said "Now thats a pick-up man right there." I thanked the man then hopped back up onto Slim and walked back to the gate. When I walked out I bursted out laughing. My father was mad while my mother was laughing with me, glad I was okay.

To be honest with you it was kinda embarrassing, but oh well! Sorry for the long story I like to get into detail when I'm bored.

This happened about five years ago and it wasn't really a fall, but my trainer helped me get on a high horse bareback. She thought I was heavier than I actually am, so she basically threw me over the horse default smiley xd

So I posted some here last year but update: got rid of my tiny horse and I got for Christmas a 9 yo Belgian mare, and adopted a Paint. So I was jumping my paint for the first time and he hates the farrier. He knocked all the jumps off, so we moved to ground poles to get some rhythm. He jumped 2ft over all the ground poles. Dumb pony. Then recently I was riding my mare, and doing her girth she kicked me, then during the ride she ran through a huge puddle, slid, and I fell into the mud. She was fine but now I have a saddle to clean and a very pleased horse.

I almost fell whole riding bareback. My horsr heard another horse, tika, fart and took off down the rail

Another time I was bareback and He saw a bird fly off a fence post and spun in a circle for what felt like forever and then took off down the rail a little ways and when he stopped, I was half on and half off. default smiley :d

Well, I need to explain a little bit^^
We went on riding outside when we galopped. My horse wanted to be wuicker than everyone - but unfortunaley, there was not enough space so he jumped over the river beside to have more place to run. I sat as he jumped, but there were trees at the other side of the little river. I hung on one of those trees and fell down. bWeird, I knowdefault smiley (8)

My horse bucked me off the other day because I had the brilliant idea to try galloping bareback. She didn't want to slow down when I did, so she crow-hopped and off I went!

Well I didn't actually fall off, but I was on a trail ride by myself once and the horse, Zoey, had to pee, so i stood up in the saddle so that i wouldn't squeeze her stomach... oh well, I thought i would fall off.

Sitting loads of bucks by a very cheeky pony in jockey stirrups, she stopped bucking so I got her to walk around a bit, then when the pony stuck her head down trying to snatch some grass, I just slid right off over their headdefault smiley (lol)
