mine was a little black Shetland called Merry. When i had her (i was about 3 or 4), i thought she was called Mary. LOL. it wasn't until a few years ago that i actually found out her real name.

The first horse I truly rode is the one I lost 2 years ago & still cry for. She was almost 30 & broke her back right leg. Jade and I were a lot alike, stubborn, bullied, sweet but also a mean streak when angered... Because we were so much alike we kind of butted heads a lot, but also made me love and appreciate her more. She's the only horse that threw me - not her fault, I was stupid & didn't lock the dogs up on a windy day. She seemed to show remorse for it... I was a bit freaked & never saddled her again... only rode bareback after that - she had a thing about bareback riding & kids or beginners... she would act like an angel & not spook at everything.

He halter hangs next to my bed. She taught me that I am stronger than I believe I am and that I can face my phobia of dying animals & dead animals when I absolutely need to. She gave me strength but also broke my heart. Our beautiful Arab...

As odd of name this is the first horse I rode was Bessie. She was a chestnut QH with a pin stripe and sweet as could be. She was a retired barrel racer and died when I was about 6-7

Billy. He is dead. He broke his leg or something and then they sold him to the slaughterer. He was a cute pony though.

The first horse I ever rode was a black with a white star QH named Faith. She was super gentle, the first time I rode her I was 6 and when I was helping my aunt groom her (my aunt and uncle had horses) she was very very wary of her hoof placement, so as not to squish my little feet! She was so sweet and loving!

A Hint Of Hollywood aka Star. She was my first horse, and she was a beautiful buckskin Quarter Horse mare. I miss her everyday.

Smokie, she was a fab little pony. Dont remember the first horse but she was the first pony, the first pony to canter on too.

I eventually loaned Smokie and she was a fab little plod had lots of hacks out jumped a few fences she built up my confidence to loan a bigger horse later on. Loved her

Recently found out she passed away sadly, she had a lot of issues going on and she was over thirty so it was just that time, very sad but she will never be forgotten

My pony Trix Are For Kids aka Trixie. And my other pony Frosted Flakes aka Frosty. We still have Frosty but Trixie passed away 3 years ago. She taught me everything I knew and I used to ride her everyday. Both are Welsh/Shetland crosses.

The first horse i rode was called Sasha she was a roan welsh section A and she was my first pony, my cousin gave her to me after she grew out of her as she was only 10hh3. i got her when i was 4 but sadly she had to be put down earlier this year as she had really bad arthritis in her front legs, she did well though as she reached the grand old age of 34!! loved her so much and miss her everyday
