taken from Google, hopefully its helpful

On Howrse, specialized breeds win rosettes: Thoroughbreds/Arabians (Gallop/XC), Selle Français/Australian Pony (Show Jumping), Tennessee Walkers/Hackney (Western Pleasure), Lipizzaners/Welsh Pony (Reining), Lusitanos/Friesian (Dressage), Nokotas/Knabstrupper (Trail), Quarter/Criollo (Cutting), and Ban'ei/Fjord (Barrel Racing).

Hi!

To my knowledge, any breed can win a rosette! However, Prix breeds are probably going to be your best bet, as they (should) win consistently in both breed-specific and open rosette comps -- and in general, there's just more rosette comps reserved for those breeds.

Was there a specific breed you had in mind that you wanted to comp for rosettes? If you're just hoping to spam rosette comps for a trophy or such, I'd recommend decking out a Prix breed that can do well in multiple disciplines -- TBs for gallop and reining, for example.

I hope that's helpful!

As long as the horse has decent primary and secondary skills that are high enough, there's a good chance that you can win a rosette. The lowest I've been able to win a rosette with is around ~10200 in the primary skill and decently strong secondary skills.

In the extreme I've had Vanners that win Cutting rosettes and their speed is the their worst skill. However they have good Stamina and Dressage, so against horses with lower primary skill they can win.

Classical Prix Breeds are Vanners, Pasos, Selles, Lusitanos, and TBs. Western breeds are Criollo, Walkers, Lipizzan, Nokota, and Mustang. However there are plenty of other breeds that line up decently, including Canadians, Tekes, Arabians for XC, KWPNs for SJ, Quarter horses and Appys for Gallop races etc.

However, IMO most of the Prix breeds are the most accessible. TBs and Selles tend to have the highest releases and lots of teared, decent GP foals. Western breeds tend to have much lower releases compared to classical.

As cedarlake said, any breed can technically win a rosette, if you're selective with the comps you enter.
But getting as many of its skills as possible in the correct order will help a great deal.

These breeds have all three skills in the correct order, making them ideal for Rosettes:
-Akhal-Teke (Cross Country)
-Arabian (Cross Country)
-Australian Pony (Show Jumping)
-Ban'ei (Barrel Racing)
-Barb (Cross Country)
-Canadian Horse (Cross Country)
-Connemara (Cross Country)
-Criollo (Cutting)
-Hackney (Western Pleasure)
-Kerry Bog (Cutting)
-Knabstrupper (Trail Class)
-Lusitano (Dressage)
-Mustang (Barrel Racing)
-Nokota (Trail Class)
-Peruvian Paso (Trot Races)
-Quarter Horse (Cross Country)
-Quarter Pony (Cutting)
-Selle Français (Show Jumping)
-Shagya Arab (Cross Country)
-Shetland (Show Jumping)
-Tennessee Walker (Western Pleasure)
-Thoroughbred (Gallop Races)
-Vanner (Cross Country)

These breeds have the first two skills in the correct order, making them semi-decent for Rosettes:
-Brumby (Barrel Racing)
-Camargue (Cutting OR Cross Country)
-Drum Horse (Trail Class OR Dressage)
-Fjord (Barrel Racing)
-Friesian (Trail Class OR Dressage)
-Haflinger Pony (Cutting OR Cross Country)
-Icelandic Horse (Cutting OR Cross Country)
-Percheron (Barrel Racing)
-Shire (Cutting OR Cross Country)
-Standardbred (Trot Races)
-Welsh Pony (Reining)

There are also other breeds whose skills aren't quite in the perfect order, but they're still very good at winning rosettes, such as French Trotters, Lipizzaners, and Marwaris.
